All memeing aside is this actually a good game? It's on sale right now and I'm wondering if I should pick it up. If not worth $8 is it worth a pirate at least?

>while the character have personality, whenever you find it obnoxious or charming kinda depends on you, one of the character personality is that of an obnoxious social inept weeaboo and the game will beat you in the head with it over and over with ebin jokes like "DO YOU THINK ANIME IS REAL???"
>the internet is a sucker for anything that breaks the 4th wall and gaming convention and will suck it's cock regarding the rest of the content
>battle tends to be slow paced because you have to dodge all the attack that the enemy throws at you
>easy as fuck outside of a super secret boss
>most of the game is spent solving boring easy puzzles that you'd expect to find in a nintendo game
>game has a moral system but it's not explained really well and honestly it feels like it's played for cheap feels since most of it can be summed to "YOU KILLED X, YOU BASTARD!"

it's not bad but because of the way it breaks the 4th wall, it leaves a bigger impression on the player so everyone shill more than it deserves, outside of that a good chunk of your playtime is spent solving boring puzzles and defeating easy enemies, it's only when you get into fight with bosses that the game actualy shine, that would make it sounds horrible but as i said since the game is pretty short, bosses makes like 70% of the game
i like to compare the game to the stanley parable, that game was literaly "PICK A OR B" but it broke the 4th wall and gaming convention so OOPS! BEST GAME EVER!

It's a psudo bullet hell game with an RPG covering, some great music and fun characters, and a memorable story line. If those things appeal to you, then sure, it's worth it. If not then just give it a pirate.

where the hell do i start with this series? i want to get into it but have no clue where to begin.
Play the PSP version of IV, it's the first FF game that's very story driven and it's not as difficult as the first 3 games. The PSP version also includes The After Years (a sequel) and Interlude which is a new short game set between FFIV and The After Years.
PPSSPP runs on toasters and FFIV isn't a demanding game for it.
IV or V for 2D (saving 6 since it's the best in the series)
7 and 10 for 3D

If it's under 9.3, you can install CFW and stuff.
Honestly I like the New 3DS XL, but I feel that it differs from person to person whether or not the upgrade is worth it to them. There are next to no exclusive games sans Xenoblade and if you already played it on Wii, you aren't missing much except for the portability factor.
With the new 3ds you can play older titles with 3d effect on with no negative impact on performance.
Games that run like shit like Code of princess and MGS3 become solid 60 fps even with 3d on. Other games that ran fine but have lower fps with 3d still maintain the 60 fps.

What do you want to see in Samsh NX, supposing it's not just a port of Wii U/3DS?

Because they're not serious ideas, as implied by the forced 'slip of the tongue' of nearly saying "Harem", implying that it would just be about collecting trainers that are attractive.
Who are they gonna reveal next? Sceptile just got added to the arcade machines a few days ago, and they have at least 8 more spots to fill on the character select screen before the console version launches in Spring.
