How did you guys like the (supposedly) last beta?
I enjoyed finally getting a good grasp on some of the character matchups, what with everyone (besides F.A.N.G. being available)
My only issue is that each of the betas suffered from netherrealm syndrome, with massive changes being applied to each character every couple of weeks. I understand they're trying to figure out the best balance for the game before its release, but some of the changes made no sense (light normals becoming almost useless, bnbs for certain characters no longer working)
What do you guys think? Are you still looking forward to this game?also for all the bitching about R.Mika and the censorship stuff, i didn't play a single Mika over the course of the entire weekend

It was quite fun and not bad at all, but I feel like it lacks of hype.
Pretty hard to explain, but the game is so focused on fundamentals that defense becomes extremely important at high level play. It's good, but it's not "Wow, this game is freaking awesome!" level of good.
You are right on the nerfs. They literally kill your desire to play the characters if they are going to normalize them making them very straightforward and uninteresting. It doesn't even get that much variety in gameplay.
Anyway, Combofiend said that the final build of the game will be quite different, so I'm hoping the final release will bring more excitement in game.

Why is the first game praised so much when Tooie is so much fucking better? This game shits on every platformer from that era, including SM64.

Tooie was so much better, I played Tooie first and Kazooie felt like a beta of the sequel
Both are solid games tho
It's interesting how much it fixed.

It's really an impressive game.
2015 was a year of stellar video game releases, from Bloodborne to Tales from the Borderlands.
But it was also a year of big disappointments. Even some of the best games of the year managed, somehow, to also feel like letdowns. Rather than necessarily being bad, these games simply didn’t live up to the hype, or missed the mark because of some design decision or change from earlier titles in a franchise.

if you set up your own server with a single player map uploaded, you and a friend can go through that experience, just not one that's fully integrated due to the changes in structure/code from the SP game and MP game
look up the single player map names and load them up and have a friend connect and you're good

Hey /v/ so I have an issue with Persona 4 and I have no fucking idea if it has to do with the cables I'm using or some other shit.
So basically I have the EU version of P4, and I recently started playing it and everything seemed fine with the intro and shit until I get to the part where everyone is at the station and there's fog and whatever and the game just basically looks weird as fuck.
Is it because it's the EU version(I can get the US one on my PS3 if thats the issue), is it because I am not using the SCART and just use AVI(or whatever the yellow, red, and white cables are called) or is it some other weird reason.
Just asking cause P3FES played alright on my PS3(hooked up to the CRT) but P4 feels really weird(using my PS2).
TL;DR Persona 4 feels like the game is "stuttering" or some shit whenever I'm not in battle or watching cutscenes.
Playing the EU version on the PS2 with the cables plugged in directly.
Is there any way to fix this?

My PC can't handle it, it's a shitty old PC but it works fine for watching movies and weeb shit and I don't really play AAA games anymore so I can't be bothered to get a new one.
