Returned to this game since after it first released. GOD DAMN IT'S SO FUN. How the hell do people prefer CS: GO over this? There are now about 20 more maps than I remember, a ton more modes; yet most of all, the gameplay and gunplay are solid and tactical and if you get into a good server where people communicate and actually work as a team (actually quite common), it's some of the most fun I've ever had in a shooter.

I have 180 hours in this and finally realised it's not that good after I started playing RO2.
It's just a clusterfuck where even though it's supposed to have a relatively small and dedicated community, 2/3rds of every team are total retards who ignore the objective and just run around playing Team Deathmatch.
Even bf4 is better than that crap.
I bought it on the sale yesterday and played it for a bit, did relatively well but it felt like trash. It's literally a modern setting RO2 stripped of all the aspects that made RO2 good.

After realizing that you can't even check the approximate ammo count (in a game where most of weapons are automatic), I just quit. This game is really fucking shallow and just bad. The only thing redeeming its existance is that there's basically no other ISIS simulators around.

Which wasn't so bad if I had gotten a PS4 at the same time. That crop stock shortage when it came out made me have to wait 3 months before I was given one. And even worse it was on my Birthday, so the present I should have gotten at Christmas was given to me for my birthday, so i didn't get anything else for my birthday.

Not in the traditional sense but that image is exactly why LoL can be considered p2w.
By not giving each player the same tools/options/characters limits them, giving others an advantage unless you cough up the money to unlock each character.
It's the same problem i think Overwatch will have, if new characters will be introduced behind a paywall. You will have to buy them to have a fighting chance to execute strategies or to counter.

No. Having played LoL, Dota, and HotS, I can say that while I prefer HotS, LoL is far from P2W. Characters are quite balanced for what you get, and some of the lower cost-tier characters are very strong, even stronger than top-cost characters.
Paying any money to Rito for anything other than skins is akin to throwing money into a furnace..
Oh and Dota has shit-tier 'Make everyone OP' balance. I hope it dies.
