I'm quickly beginning to realize that my 'favorite' d20 (Chessex, translucent orange with white swirled in, black numbers) is a conniving piece of shit. I just tested it on a variety of 'skill checks', and this fucker failed every single one. Should I shame it? Shatter it? Melt it down? Roll it under the LGS vending machine, never to be played again?

I haven't played it, but something I heard that really turned me off (correct me if I'm wrong here) is that you get expendable artifacts at every level (that you can't get back) instead of powers or skills that you can use whenever.

Nah, the expendable artifacts are things you find and are supposed to have a constant flow of them. You can only carry a certain number of these doodads, at higher levels you get more slots so you can keep more around to increase your versatility.

I want to run a sword and sorcery game based more in an antiquity style setting than traditional medieval European fantasy.
Aside from there being no elves and dwarves, what can I do with imagery/narration/etc as a GM to make the game feel more sword and sandals and keep from accidentally falling back into generic medieval not-Europe fantasy?
Have lots of tanned white-skinned people in place of actual dark-skinned people.

Yes, there is a reason for the Rin Picture! To explain the Grail: It only appears occasionally. It has some power, and completely hides itself, only to come out every sixty years (though, that rule is broken a shitload.) It was created by the three Mage families. The Einzbern, the Tohsaka, and I always forget the third family. It's a Nigh-Omnipotent artifact. So where's the current best place to get quality MTG proxies (meaning CONVINCING FAKES WAAAHHH)? Got an order from an Alibaba seller earlier and the cards definitely weren't the ones that have been causing uproar. Not going to try fucking people over, just want vintage/legacy stuff to play with friends.

You're not really going to find any. A few people tried to shill the cards here, but it's one of those things where photos can lie pretty badly. Once a few anons stupidly fell for the advertising and bought the cards, they revealed that the print jobs were obviously terrible when viewed with the naked eye, and even when sleeved were hardly passable as fakes. Some too glossy, others had wild saturation issues, and all felt cheap.
It's likely going to be several more years before these small time printers figure out how to imitate large scale operations with...
