What does /tg/ think of Star Grunt?

Is that even legal under Anlo IP laws? I figured somebody would sue them into the ground for something like that.

Never played it, but the minis have an old-school hard SF charm to them.
Journal Entry #???: The reconstruction of the west wing is coming along nicely. Much faster than the last two times.
Practice makes perfect, I guess.
>Tali drags himself upright, blinking sleep away. For once, he is not drowning in the fine ladies of minia.
G'morning, Orb. What's on the schedule for today?
>>46398580
The same thing we do every day, Tali. To seduce and impregnate girls.
>>46398580
Faildragon riding lessons, weren't it?
How can they reload with that FUCKHUEG glove?
>>46375425
A tiny little baby robot hand pops out of the palm of the YUGE FIST and reloads the bolter.
>>46375425
A greater question is; where are the rest of the magazines?
>>46375425
Reload? At worst they will shoot 24 bullets in total, a single magazine should be enough
Isn't this a massive disadvantage over camo? Or are the conflict so huge that it doesn't matter?
>Logic
>In a Gee Dub game
Wew laddie
>Not considering that bright colors might be still be camo
Earth-like terrain is not the only terrain in the galaxy. But keep painting your green forest camos and tan desert camos.
It would be fucking bad on the terrain the mini has as a base, though.
>>46374529
Other planets very well may have extremely bright-colored flora. There's literally no reason this can't be camo on another planet.

Does magic involve math? Would a wizard be good at math?
depends on the setting.
I personally do like settings where magic has a lot of math to it though.
>>46372858
Does flying involve metal?
>>46372858
It also depends on the system too. Depending on whether the magic is intelligence based or not. I generally take that to mean that there are some complex numbers. Though intelligence could also be used for mental puzzles and philosophical shit too, so...

I'm gathering a group, might end up with 3 people. What are the absoltely necessary roles in a run team, hacker, mage, face?
>>46398459
In shadowrun, you can generally do ~2 things out of chargen well, since you've got a small group you should probably double up on rolls.
For example, shamans make excellent face characters because they both use charisma for drain resist and use charisma for face-based stuff.
A dead killy street samurai can also be an infiltrator, because both of them rely heavily on AGI, and being able to shoot your way out if you get detected is also good.
Deckers can easily double up as a rigger if needed,...

/srg/, I have been inspired by you, now I need your help: How do I into AI in 5e, specifically a metasapient rigger?
Some guy a couple threads back was asking about anthro drones, and I want to make an AI rigger with a bunch of Ares Duelists in a GMC Bulldog to provide support for a gunslinger adept I know is going to be in an upcoming game (along with other walker drones for spy purposes). Looking at the qualities, Multiprocessing feels like a good one to manage multiple viewpoints and co-ordinating efforts, but I don't know if I should have an RCC as a home console,...

the clue could be "we shot it into a sun lol"

I have the 4E red box.
I never played it, but I think it's actually a nifty thing.
I wish more RPGs would be like that. Just a quick start box with the essential stuff and some goodies to get you started and get the right feels.
You totally got me!
For a moment I thought you were trolling, but then I looked at the calendar and realized you are totally serious.
I don't understand WotC's design decisions for MtG.
Last set they put all this emphasis on specific cards that produce and require anus mana and then they release cards like this in this set, which allow you to produce that sort of mana whenever you like. Why do their decisions always seem to be self-destructive?
>>46370040
Nice b8
In case you're serious, you cannot produce colorless with that cryptolith rite. You can only produce one of the 5 *colors* as it says on the card. As to wizards' retarded design decisions, who the fuck knows, 90% of the time they're retarded
>>46370040
>>46370057
I'm sure the guys who run the company knows better than some raging basement dwellers.
>>46370057
What do they accomplish by making colorless mana exempt from this? Also, assuming you're right, it doesn't mention five colors at all. It says 'any color' which has to include the new mana symbol as well.
Hello and welcome to Machine Mutant Quest!
The gist:
>You are one of two robotic organisms, thrown at Earth starting in early Dragon Ball by your "Creator"
>"Canon" has already taken a sharp turn from the "norm," as you'll readily see, and can take even sharper turns depending on the thread's action/dialogue choices and ideas

Mount Paozu. Thousands of miles from the world's giant capital city, far away from civilization of any sort. A remote place where fierce creatures rule and normal humans dare not tread. Sadly, you and your brother weren't told that when the creator had you deposited here. Now you're both stranded in the wilderness, with only the phrases "kill the dirty space monkey," "grow up to be blue," and "despise me forever" to go...

>Apple Girlington and Window Boy
So /tg/ I´ve hit a dry-spot something fierce when trying to come up with some nerve-wrecking space horror and since there isn’t a thread up for it lets take some to discuss horror and spooky set-pieces to throw at our players.
Some questions to get us going
>Have you ever done a horror campaign?
>What are your favorite ways to unsettle players?
>What are some things that sends you shivering as a player?
>>46369213
>What are your favorite ways to unsettle players?
Music is key, https://youtu.be/oWTC7P1Dprw
>The small Transport Starship you have docked with contains bodies, (it looks like it will be a salvage after all) the poor sods seem to have suffocated inside of their spacesuits but the Atmospheric systems are online and charged, incoherent scribbling’s speaking of a Plague cover the walls. The air-work comes back clean.
>The Nobles Mansion seems rather homey, it certainly can't be worse than sleeping at the Inn, and he did offer it. Upon closer inspection however the party realize that the suits of armour decorating the mainhall are occupied, the poor sods inside have had their faces removed through brutal surgery.
>The Farmstead have been ruined, it seems the tribal savages have gone to town, their gruesome displays are there for all to see: Heads mounted on pikes, bodies thrown into piles of rotting food and slaughtered farm-Animals a small shrine have been built out of the detritus outside, a perfectly cleaned skull sits at the center, picking it up and the muscle begins to re-grow, eyes rotting back into existence as a shrill scream echoes from the head.
>A trip to the dwarf-planet to collect a sample for the researchers, the quasi-organic substance is not hard to find at all as it covers a large chunk of the asteroid, once inside the air of the ship the thing seems to wilt and die, even better. That night the airlock begins acting up and they discover a tiny sliver of the material have found its way into the circuitry, suitable reprimanded about its dead nature the captain doubles up on the quarantine, later the same day it turns up in the ships mess growing on a wall. A thorough search of the ship reveals nothing, but the surveillance shows tampering and the material keeps showing up in unexpected places.
A plumbing accident reveals the inside of the water pipes are coated in the substance.
The crew has been drinking the water for days.

>the fog is coming back quickly, quicker than you would've thought.
>the father tells you to hurry and prep the car, your group took too long this time.
>you shiver thinking the fog might catch you up this time and that They might be near.
>at last, you manage to start the car and the group hurry inside, you feel relieved...

“Welcome to Kuat, Admiral.” A protocol droid takes your bags and leads you down the brilliantly lit halls of Kuat’s shipyard rings. “It is good that you came. Your fleets have already been assembled and are awaiting your orders, sir.”
You wonder if there’s anything to actually do except wait.
“Unfortunately not sir,” says the droid. Damn. “Your secretary ship is awaiting you outside your quarters, she will provide you further information of your role here on Kuat. Hopefully we can those beasts out of the galaxy with you around, sir!” Well, he...

Tell me about Xenos in your setting /tg/, are they for exterminating or dating?
>>46366941
They agreed to gene splicing. They used to look like freaks but now they're imbued with human DNA to look more humanoid. They have all of the strengths of their previous form and none of the weaknesses.
They are the neglectful yet benevolent rulers of the planet. They let humans at their own devices and if shit hits the fan they restore the order trough military force. They just want to get their tithe paid, nothing more and nothing less.
I better not see any HFY or I'm going to type unfriendly things at (You)!
