How have beholders failed to conquer the Underdark yet? They are clearly the most powerful on an individual basis and don't experience endless in-fighting like the more fecund drow. I'm aware that they problems working together, but hive tyrants eliminate those, and after that their only possible rivals for the area are mind flayers.
>>46636691
>and don't experience endless in-fighting
Um, anon, I don't think you know anything about beholders.
Every beholder considers itself the only "correct" beholder. Other beholders are weird freaky mutants that must be destroyed immediately before they pollute your safe space with their wrongitude.
Now do you see why they "problems working together" (sic)?
>>46636691
Because no two Beholders can stand each other. They are so xenophobic and proud that they view even other Beholders as abominations and destroy them more often than not in their insane, alien quest for ultimate purity of form they believe only they possess.
I feel the more important question is if they hate each other that much how do they breedi assume hate fucking as it is best fucking

Furries
>>46619283
Furry RPG. The art is complete garbage, barring a few good bits. The setting's a bit bland, but with enough interesting bits.
The rules are some of the best from any RPG I've read. To give a brief summary, it's like agood/better Savage Worlds.

It looks like the art in the Bestiary and 2e supplements is a lot better.
One of you posted this a while ago and I liked it so I built it.
It's mostly stuff I had laying around so I'm sure it could be a lot better (Fog).
Please help as I am incapable of original thought.

Reposting season 3 sign ups info:
MauledbytheTigers is now accepting applications for /tg/ FUMBBL League III. There will be two divisions, as before.
In the Veterans league, as usual, this is completely open-weight to any returning /tg/ League teams (either from League I, League II or both), or anyone cuh-razee enough to want to enter a fresh team.
In the Rookies league, any coach may enter a fresh team, or a returning team from either previous /tg/ Leagues under 1200 Tournament Weight (which is different to Team Value).
As usual, players may only enter one team total.
To apply, PM Mauled on FUMBBL (user: MauledByTheTigers), stating your Team Name and which division they want to play in. Apply your team to the group, and ensure they are READY TO PLAY if not already, so you'll have to roll any skills or buy new players first.
He'll check your applications and either ACCEPT or REJECT you.
Also, Mauled will skullfuck any dropouts. They're a pain in the arse for everyone involved.
If you can't last ~6 weeks, don't apply. Stick to casual play.

I swear 3+ rolls fail 90% of the time on fumbbl and 1% of the time in BB2

I want to get tackle now and catch me dat ass
What is Bug World? It is a setting where mammals are almost unheard of and insects rule the world. It is a place of cities built from hollow logs, Termite megolopoli, and dangerous monsters that stalk the lands. Industrious cities built on the ambitions of fly alchemists and merchants. Frontier towns and villages making a living off the land despite the dangerous neighbors. Lands scorched and mutated by an ancient cataclysm that warped reality in dangerous ways that linger to this day. Magic is a powerful force but fading away as Gunpowder and chemical weapons take center stage in the theater of war.
The land of Arath is a world of high adventure, danger, intrigue and ancient mystery.

Criticize em. Note that each of these are separate from the other.
>Angron isn't teleported and forced into his legion. Instead, the Emperor comes down to the planet with his own army and marches with Angron's army to destroy the slavers. However, the Butchers Nails have been in Angron's brain for so long that removing them will result in death, and the Emperor did not want to risk his sons life just yet, mainly because he needs him to lead the War Hounds. Use of the warp to remove the nails could open Angron's soul to chaos, and thus corrupt him. The Emperor wished to avoid this, and thus decided that he will cure his son as soon as the great crusade is over.
>The Emperor never meant to have the Imperium stay Atheist for long. He knew that the priest in the last church was right; people will find another thing to worship, no matter what you do. The only reason he had the Imperial truth was so that he can delay chaos from gaining more power until he can complete his web way project, so that humanity will no longer have to risk itself getting infected by the void.
>The Emperor is indeed attempting to ascend to godhood, but not out of a need for power. Instead, he reserves it as the last strategy if Chaos were to ever become strong enough to influence the galaxy at a massive scale. If he were to become a god, he would have enough power to keep the forces of chaos delayed from consuming the galaxy.
>The Chaos gods themselves are a grey force, rather than a completely negative one, made up of both positive and negative aspects of reality. For example, Tzeench is a trickster, able to give hope and ambition on a whim, and take it away at a glance without any rhyme or reason necessary. Slaanesh is fed by the extremes of all emotion, no matter what they may be. However, she does not gain anymore sustenance from torture and pain than she does from pleasure and happiness, leaving her followers to do as they wish, for all extreme actions will still feed the dark prince.
>The Chaos gods do not feed off of emotions alone. They need worshipers and those worshipers need to commit acts in order to feed and please their gods. If they run out of worshipers, then they will lose a great deal of their power and be forced to sustain solely on emotion until new followers appear. It will be enough to keep them alive but it will not be enough to allow them any more power over the materium.
>There are multiple Chaos gods, some more powerful than others. Khorne, Tzeench, Nurgle, and Slaanesh are the main four powerful chaos gods. However, their position is always threatened by other gods who aim to kill them and take their thrones for themselves. Instead of the gods being bound to reality, they are merely the most powerful hosts of these certain emotions and are also the one with the most worshipers. If any Chaos god is killed, their power is immediately given to the killer so long as that killer can sustain that amount of power. This is known because this is how the main big four were able to reach their status; by killing the previous big four.
>Sisters of Battle number in the tens of thousands, guarding holy sites and Ecclesiarchy principals across the Galaxy.
>Cyric, Bhaal, and Bane are executed for their crimes and new gods take their places.
>>46726810
My third point is already a thing in the fluff. I originally meant that they act more grey and neutral than evil.
Is suicide considered acceptable in immortal societies (e.g. celestials, fiends, constructs, undead, certain depictions of faeries) for those who have grown weary of existence and have decided that it is their time to pass on?
>>46726364
I imagine celestials and fiends would prefer you at least throw yourself violently at the armies of their opposite and do some good (or evil, I guess) in the process of being destroyed.
>>46726364
To note, most low-level celestials and fiends generally end up getting reabsorbed into the plane eventually. You don't get to be immortal as an outsider of alignment planes if you don't get a constant stream of souls or equivalent matter.

The guy in OP's pic is Spoony. He does reviews and shit. Sometimes poorly planned ones where he goes on even more tangents than usual. A third of his review of D&D next had him going on about a weird smell.
