Suddenly, a wizard appears and transports you to a magical fantasy world. You carry only what you would carry with you on a normal day out of the house, and you are completely unprepared for the fact.
You appear in a rural, human-owned area, with no clue where you are. Strangely the locals seems to be speaking English. There does not seem to be any way to return to earth. How will you go about your existence in this strange new world?
What will you do to survive, what skills do you have which can be useful to either make a living or simply survive out in the world? What items do you have that might make a difference for you. Will you take up a profession, settle down, or travel the world?

Depends how high or low fantasy and world setting and so on.
However, my first order of bussiness would be to aquire a qt elf waifu regardless
Well that depends, is this world roughly analogous to ours during the mideaval period? And period accurate? Because if it is then likely at least half a foot taller than just about everyone, since back in the day the average hight was a lot shorter than it is now, and even by modern standards im pretty tall. Sadly not nobility, and too old to become a squire even if I was. Honestly I would probably end up as some lords man at arms. In a slightly more high adventure setting I guess I would start adventuring as a fighter or a barbarian

So, with the Helvault destroyed, the unmaking of Avacyn will remove the second half of Innistrad's planar protection. That explains why the Fat Pack booklet describes Sorin as having played right into Nahiri's plans.
But where has she been for the past millennia?
Looks like she was happy to see him
>>46648388
I liked this story. Sorin is a good POV, and we learned a decent amount of his backstory, as well as how he is viewed by the other vampires. I liked how they knew he was powerful, but after a thousand years they seem to have forgotten how powerful he was. Also interesting to note that Avacyn has been fucking around with the vampires as well as the other humans, and that no one seems to know she is supposed to be a balancing power. The flashbacks were also well done; they felt natural and were interesting. I wish we had seen what Sorin had been doing that led him to discover what happened to Markov Manor, though.
>>46648581
Maybe he stuck her into the one stone that she couldn't control on all of Innistrad.
>But clearly did her

What's the hardest fight you've faced?
A little boring, but our Circle came extraordinarily close to dying to the Immaculate circle from the core books. We didn't have a combat supernal, and had an absolutely abysmal night with the dice. I believe the low point was 5 sux from 21 dice on an attack roll, but there were plenty not that much better.
Our Sorcerer managed a couple of decent hits with Obsidian Butterflies, which inflicted enough wound penalties to give us a leg-up, but it was a close-run thing.
>>46648407
Ouch. Did anyone have to take a crippling injury?
>>46648476
No; we actually managed to end it without anyone getting beyond their -1s; but the whole circle was mote-tapped, and all bar one were crashed, and multiple DB auras each turn SUCKS when you're in crash. Twilights have a good thing going with that Hardness-in-crash anima power.
We've all been there. Tired, stressed. You think you're doing fine until later on you realize you'd mantled the soul of That Guy and done some truly cringeworthy shit.
For me, I was playing a game of 3e DnD back in highschool. Everything was going fine until the group decided to enter a tournament in competition with one another. I was a monk. My fight was with a wizard. Before the night was done I'd thrown a temper tantrum so loud and incoherent I skipped school for a week out of shame and it took months for me to have the courage to show my face at the group again. Whenever I start to get upset about anything in my life, I think back to that moment and the embarrassment calms me to a state of complacency.
So what's your secret shame, /tg/? The one so bad it weighs down your whole life?
>>46647982
I don't seed torrents.
>>46647982
When I was in college, I'd wake up at 6:00am and then go to all my classes, and then later in the night when all my friends were available, we'd play D&D until 2:00am, I was DM for 9 people, and after a while I'd be so burnt out I wouldn't even count AC or Modifiers, and when the players would question me, I'd get mad.
Played a tiefling warlock.
Also I frequently redirect people to other boards.

>Good News!
Given the hype and some free time coming up I may be able to run a quest off this soon every Sunday.
>Bad News
This won't be until the 25th at the earliest and if I lose my free Sundays threads will be intermittent at best.
Now, onwards with the finalisation of our Riverlands House full of Riverland Babes.
>To Do List
(1) Decide who we would play as.
-The aging Lord Gareth Gauthier (he's had six kids by now, he's definitely not young)
-The up-and coming Heir Rotrick Gauthier, who is slowly taking over more and more responsibilities as his father sinks into a comfy semi-retirement.
-The eldest daughter Genna Gauthier, who actually manages the place while her father and brother do tournaments, hunting and other 'boy stuff'.
(2) The name of our Hall.
(3) The name of our Town. Anything other than "Gauthier Town" or "Riverplace" please.
(4) The name of the Veteran Personal Gaurd. These are the distant-relatives that will serve as our closest fighting companions if/when shit hits the fan. They are armoured knights all (or close enough) and sworn to defend the honour of House Gauthier and it's Ladies.
(5) Finish up our Bannerhouse.
Our Bannerhouse has a few things that need finalising as well. It needs both a name and words if it is a minor house, and neither if it is a mere landed Gauthier Knight. Names of the Hall, specific people and such need not necessarily be fleshed out unless you feel like it.
>Defence (0 remaining, transferred 2 influence for 1 defence)
-Hall
>Influence (5 remaining)
-Firstborn son
Spend the last 5 influence into a Bastard or transfer it into 3 Power?
>Lands (0 remaining)
-Wetlands, Hamlet, Road, Lake
>Law 16
>Population 19
>Power (0 remaining)
-Veteran Infantry
-Green Criminals
OR
-Trained Infantry
-Green Archers
>Wealth (15 left)
-Townhouse in Gauthier lands (Current Mad Lord neglects his own lands and prefers to spend it here OR his son stays here to keep his head down when his dad is acting particularly crazy)
-Fishery [+1 House Fortune]
-Road Tolls [+1 Law Gain, +1 Wealth Gain]
For the Bannerhouse
(1) Is the Lord the head of a very minor house or a Gauthier Landed-knight of middling success?
(2) If it is a House in its own right, what is the name of the House and what are its words? (House was founded as the result of a victory in the Blackfyre Rebellion).
(3) Do we spend the 15 wealth on other holdings or transfer it into 15 power and spend it on military might? (Reminder, this house swears its allegiance to you)

The Planet is similar to mid-late Ordovician period of Earth. Roughly 20-25 million years ago, the planet had a supervolcanic eruption, causing the world to be enveloped in ash. The aftermath has left a lush world of fertile seas and lagoons, along with marshy shorelines and loamy earth. But it appears that in this timeline, the eruption left to a mass extinction, leaving only the progenitor races alive, and a select few, currently in a form of stasis, with the exception of the Floater Algae, that are hex-shaped colonies of algae covered in thick layers of cellulose that can produce a gas lighter than air, allowing them to float.
• The mountainous Eastern Continent, home of the now dormant Mt. Khornus, lush with fertile grounds for plants, and mix of cold highlands, warm valleys and isolated expanses of freshwater lakes and flatlands.
• The Northwestern Continent is the most land dominated by low to sea-level lands where the grounds are always moist, while more northern regions are found to be dryer and more hilly.
• The Southern Continent is home to the great desert on its northern landmass, where precipitation is rare, while the southern region of the land is known for its welcoming, temperate climate.
• Planet Evo now has about 15% less oxygen in its Atmosphere then compared to Planet Terra of the Sol System. It also contains Nitrogen, Hydrogen, and traces of gaseous heavy metals of the past Ash Cloud.
• In some of the shallower parts of the oceans bare rock has been exposed, a potential substrate for more sessile organisms to easily settle in. These regions of the oceans while, tiny in size are comparably warmer and clearer than else where in the ocean.
• The night skies have been filled with an array of light as of recent. While likely unnoticed by the organisms of the planets, shimmering auroras and meteor showers have been flying over the skies at night. It would appear, that a nearby Star has recently destabilized.
Why are Climbing Frawas, Bungi and Deprungi crossed as if they didn't adapt to the iron event?
Bungi and Deprungi evolved to secrete iron poop used by aortigas to visit underwater places.
And the red-cheeked Frawas have them red cheeks just to store iron
