My changeling Rogue she CK2'd her way to being the queen of a small kingdom. It gets difficult to move around so I often send other characters for me to go along with the party.
He's a mercenary. Adventuring is literally his job.

You don't have to be on contact with that shit 24/7 for it to be effective. If evert time an ethereal walked into the room your whole life you had a quasi-religious experience of complete submission to their will, you aren't going to shake your head and yell "GO fuck yourself" the first time one sends you an order over radio just because it didn't feel quite as magical.

Beasts of war did an interview with ronnie renton about Deadzone and an unboxing. Interesting stuff. They showed off the forge father tank on the close cam, and even the new industrial terrain. I'm excited for when a set of industrial terrain goes up for sale.

So in a game I'm in, I'm playing a knight built like a brick shithouse (a gregor clegane proxy), broad at the shoulders a foot taller than most men the usual deal.
The King, thoroughly impressed with my build, promises me a top position in royal guard and one of his younger daughters in marriage if I train an elite group of knights that are all built just like me. I can select any young man or child from the kingdom I see fit and just have to train and feed them to also grow up to be brick shithouses.

Every man in your command will need 3 chickens a day. Also the eggs. If the kingdom has access to spinach you'll want that too.
Mornings will be devoted to conditioning. The concept of weight training wasn't really a thing, so you'll have men hauling around lots of big logs, stones, ropes, or each other. (build that brotherhood!) follow that up with cardio. Cardio for days. If you have a walled city, do laps around the wall. Walk laps around the wall while carrying heavy things.

Sup /tg/, what's your take on this game? We've recently got the group's hyperweeb back from sick leave and she's been trying to sell us image related as basically a cross between Afro Samurai and Dynasty Warrior.
How accurate is that, and how does it play in general?
PS: Can someone explain the whole Aiki/Kiai/Fate deal to me? I feel stupid trying to decipher it.

I've read the core book for the most part, and found it pretty interesting, never played it though. The one thing that bugged me was the emphasis on narrative structure, i.e. what constitutes a scene, how you transition from one to another, etc. It felt way too rigid and formal for pnp game.

It is extremely rigid to play, and if you aren't the big time actor focused type of player there is little to no fun to be had.

That's what I felt after reading as well. Mechanically, I liked how you could mix and match attributes and skills depending on the situation. I also found the classes to be both thematically and mechanically interesting, although I have no idea whether they work well in practice.
In general, I feel the game adheres too much to jrpg design principles, as evidenced by the rigid narrative structure.

Try to max your units if you can.
A 5 men support squad with magnetized guns is awesome to have.
Legion units are the most fun to play, get one if you can.
Try to pick up some iron havocs. One of the most cost-effective units in 30k imo

The only reason why I would play in your setting would be so that I could make an arachnophobic player character who embarks on a quest to make sure that the NOPE-dominated Imperium is definitely gone and destroying any evidence of its existence along the way.

By faffing around, my PCs have released a young demon in a rural low-magic setting. I thought they will deal with him, but no. Now there is a CR 6 demon running around a region, populated mostly with commoners in small villages.
He has been imprisoned for about 100 years, so he could be pretty pissy. Also he's an edgy motherfucker.
TLDR: Free demon, wat should he do?
Don't just go the whole "lol, I kill people" route. Hav him corrupt people, possess people, get him to manipulate those in power to achieve greater levels of chaos and discord than he ever could just by killing and burning. Remember, he's had a long time to plan this.

Have him hunt down the players, only to reward them, since they released him and just let him go, he figures they meant to, and demons don't like owing debts.
However, soon after they'll find themselves being hunted by a angel/paladin. If they kill them, then have more start coming, but also have some allies in the form of demonic being be willing to aid them.
If they surrender, are beaten, the Angel/paladin will force them to hunt down the demon.
Why is there no Transformers RPG, /tg/? Shouldn't this be a thing by now? There are classes, a variety of weapons, lots of lore, and it's owned by HASBRO of all things. Why isn't this a thing?
I have no idea why there is no official Transformers tabletop rpg yet.

My latest session went pretty great. The DM was happy. This was 5e and we went from people catching feelings last sessions and actually bickering to being able to squash the beef like adults and play the game and have fun all around. Technically it didn't happen because noshows.
Before that, the party was down some PCs (nowshows) and accidentally got tangled up with an encounter intended for a bit later in the game. I fucked up as a GM, a little, but got lucky.
Party travelling cross country, the hireling-type with them at some point gets replaced by a doppelganger, and disappears next day with the macguffin they were couriering, along with most of their rations. They split off, two of them tracking him ranger style, while the barbarian uses beast sense with a raven to search ahead and the halfling rogue stays to guard his senseless body.

Well, elegan/tg/entleman, what do y'all think of this buttfuckery?
Named The Twisting Halls, the party will be sent in to reprieve an old, dead wizard's (who is not a lich, he's honestly dead) macguffin for the party Illusionist's master.
These Halls were made as a safeguard for dead wizard's magic after it led to the demise of his family. Contained within it is a Displacer Beast, hallucinogenic fungi, water weirds, and a rust monster, to name a few.
Also, the walls are going to be representations of the derivative plane for each encounter.
