One primarch wouldn't probably make all that big of a difference. Remember that Dorn was killes during a regural battle, by Traitor Legions, and he wasn't even alone. I know that Khan is not considered KIA but IMA, but I believe after ten thousand years of absence declaring him KIA is a safe bet. And he went missinf in the Webway so probably got killed by Eldar or Necrons, maybe Demons.

Why not just play on cockatrice for free?
Do you have friends who play modern or standard in paper?
Do you just want to go to FNMs and play modern or standard?
A $20 blue black deck is going to have a 0% winrate at FNMsin modern or standard, it would ironically be a waste of money, you're not even really playing the game
If you have friends who play you should just borrow a deck and save your $20 until it's at least $50-$100 and you can start trying to build a budget deck that can compete

Which edition? I'd say you'd probably want more than one for 3.5 unless it's a small group, but you probably don't need more than one for 5e unless your group really likes casting spells and sucks at memorizing them

What's your view on including background music to tabletop games? Is it a necessary inclusion for mood and atmosphere, or a waste of setup time? How important are things like background/environment noise? how noticeable is the difference when it's not there? How appropriate is it to borrow from the soundtracks of existing media? Players are discouraged from using electronics between breaks, so I loop the works of Basil Poledouris softly in the background. The number of times it synchs-up with the TT action is a little scary sometimes.
After toying around with music at my table for years I've managed to get it right. Some of the best moments from our sessions came while the Hotline Miami 2 soundtrack was playing at the table. How well it goes over depends on your use of it, it's easy to use it for background mood setting, but you can use it as a way of making thins more dramatic as long as you know the track and can synch up with it. Hey, /tg/, I'm currently worldbuilding for an alt-history game (think Baccano meets Rail Wars) set in 1930s eastern Europe/Balkans. My players are expecting some pseudo-supernatural shenanigans (we're using the CoC system for this) so I've decided to throw a curveball at them: a young woman with small angel wings growing out of her back, but no special powers or anything that sets her apart from humans otherwise (no, she can't even fly.) They're all giant weebs so making the macguffin a qt grill for no reason ought to be fairly effective.

What's the worst drama your LGS has ever had /tg/?
A few days ago it came out that one of the owners of my LGS was arrested for having real CP on his computers, it seems like he's out of the picture now but I'm worried about how likely the store is to survive considering most of the business is done with parents and children. Really a shame because the store is so much more comfy than the other alternatives.
