I'm not a big fan of when player take necromancy lightly. Out of all the schools of magic, the one that involves working with people's souls should be the last one considered for casual misuse.

So Ive been looking at new(well to me anyway) systems and worlds to DM, and I ran across Cthulhutech. The lore seems fun and flexible, and has enough opportunities to be sufficiently lethal to punish silly mistakes to fit in with my play group. What do you all think?

All right. I was 15, it was 3.5 and I was a druid. At the time, I had no idea about the murder hobo tendencies of the tabletop fandom. After clearing some kobolds out, we found eggs. I naively attempted to save them on the grounds that they weren't yet sentient and deserved a chance to live and choose. Okay so, my plan is to make my players roll normal military guys, give them a normal mission to understand the system and suddenly launch them into a fantasy world as members of an expeditionary force.
Do you guys know if a system is already doing that (I don't doubt that this idea as already been thought trought)? Or have you some ideas/experience to share? I also live in a no-weapon country and I am not much of a /k/ guy, so I would love some thought on how military would likely react.
Also, modern military forces against med-fan world discussion.
Could be doable with WH40K: Only War, though it might require a bit of cross-referencing with the warhammer fantasy rpg

Hum. i'm not a great fan of 40K systems. I mean, I do play Dark Heresy and even a trained guardsman needs to be lucky to reliably touch something.
But if Warhammer fantasy have the same system it actually could be interesting.
Will they have to adapt to martial weaponry or still have ammo and whatnot?

I'm always a big fan of using dragons as either (a) big political movers, (b) big bad evil doers, (c) maniacal isolationists only to be encountered deep in their extremely complex (read megadungeon) lair).
If you want to retain a feeling of 'The Dragon' while have multiple dragons, make them hard to reach, influential, pivotal, legendary, truly majestic or any combination of this.

With instinct, not conscious effort, Aria tunes out the voice. She lies in her bed. She stares at the ceiling. It’s all she can do. Despite the central heating, her body is cold. Not the outside, which is snugly wrapped in the white hospital sheets, but the inside, whispering to her of the personal transgressions she made, replaying her mistakes over and over again like a sick theatre. She shivers, but makes no move to wrap her arms around herself. The simulation, in this case, cannot hold a candle to the reality.
“You were very lucky, young lady. A friend of yours came to your rescue. He called an ambulance for you and the good men here picked you up—”
“Pardon?” Aria asks.
The android nurse blinks, then resumes her speech with that same, almost infuriating pleasant smile. “A friend called an ambulance for you. There are a lot of selfish people these days, especially now that magic has segregated humanity in two, so that friend of yours must be very good for him to come to your aid in—”
“Wrong.” She doesn’t need to think. She interrupts without giving the nurse’s words a single thought.
“Pardon?”
“Wrong. You’re wrong. I…” Aria whispers, her voice raspy, “I don’t have any friends…”
“Really?” The android nurse says, opening up a holographic screen on her tablet. “The boy who called the ambulance for you made a statement that said otherwise.”
“What?” Aria gasps.
“Let’s see here…what was his name…ah, that’s right. Wakui! Does that name ring a bell, young lady? His name was Takashi Wakui…”
