You sleep for a lot longer than you expected, and by the time you wake up, the army is already disbanding and heading home, while some remain to disassemble the camp.
You grab breakfast quickly at the mess hall, which has been left to function until the entire rest of the camp is gone. You take a seat next to Sasuke, who is also eating.
"Just woke up, huh?" he smirks. "I'm in the same boat. Totally exhausted. Anyway, seems like we're done here. All the villages are supposed to handle giving out honors and performing funeral services on an individual basis. So everybody is to be back home in the next couple of days. Though I'm pretty sure we still have plenty of people we know hanging out here, so you could catch them before you leave. As for me, I'm going to be leaving right after this. Eager to get back to the village."
You chat with Sasuke for a while longer as you two finish eating, then you both get up.
"Kiba already took off, apparently." Sasuke tells you. "Got tired of trying to bask in the glory, I guess. But he also said he had something important that he had to get home to do as soon as possible. I don't know if he even slept. So I'll make sure he made it back alright too. Anyway, if you're sticking around a bit longer, I'll see you later."
Sasuke waves goodbye, then turns to leave South, back in the direction of the Hidden Leaf Village.

"Alright" I sigh, almost growling as my wings fold up on my back, the smell of burning and freshly spilled blood making my head foggy as I hold my massive sword in front of me, almost like a shield.
The old armored crone slowly tip toes around me, her withered, boney fingers clasped around a twisted and charred black sword. The one eye girl giggles, her blue hair flowing through the wind as she flips her little knives around her fingers like some kind of carnival performer, or edgy try hard.
The last knight slams the pommel of his sword against his shield, trying to egg me into charging at them and getting cut to little itty bitty mothy bits. My headphone's go silent as they stop, staring at me with mad grins.
Thunder stands onto of little green, his arm blades crossed as my poor little baby cries and whimpers in pain, struggling to try and stand up to come to my aid as Bailey and Blue try to force him back down to floor, Minor's trying to help to, but she isn't doing much.
Little green is hurt, and so am I...at least everyone else seems pretty...okay. You know besides the three monsters standing right in front of them and me.
I glare at them, waiting for them to make a move so I can stop looking at Little green groaning in pain.
But they just stand there, not moving even and inch....and then slowly, oh so slowly inky smoke flows out of their eyes, making them wince in pain as a vague figure appears inside of it all.
"Kroooovach" it says sternly, with a voice like snapping wood and a crackling fireplace...or bonfire "I must say you're quite the...pain"
the voice growls, and sparks fly out of the smoke.

I hope when the new slyvaneth come out it's still possible to make an army entirely of tree-dudes. I wasn't a big fan of the half-elves in that artwork. Did seem to be dryads/big dryads with weapons (one with a glaive, one with a bow) in the allarielle piece, so hopefully it's possible.
Sadly after the excitement of silver tower we're in a bit of a releases lull, with just that hero box, then the next two weeks are paints and 40k terrain.

My players just killed themselves a nice fancy dragon with the help of a small army and some intuition, so as a reward they got to pick it clean of resources, well the party mage asked me "do the scales have any magical properties?" and i took a page from dark souls and said the scales have life magic, in the sense that they are a powerful ingredient to make health spells or potions, or if turned into an armor would grant healing. They're trying to decide wether to make armors for all of them, or sell it and get rich.
But it got me thinking, what else could work like this? what other things could you harvest from magical creatures that have special effects? Do phoenix feathers cure illness? does fairy dust help you fly?

Only game I've ever had space battles in was in Rogue Trader, where void shields, defence turrets and ludicrously large and study vessels means you can ignore the "dead by debris" aspect.
Though fire, decompressurisation and boarding were all vitally important.

My favorite elves were like the Huns or Sioux some other nomadic horse riding fighting culture. They were a little crunchy and I guess like WH wood elves but I'm not super versed in the WH lore, these sprung up between a player and myself discussing his Elven culture. There were also civilized high elves who tended to be diabolists.

I've seen an option for if you're a half elf with aquatic ancestry in the sword coast adventurer guide, but it's just that you swap out one feature for a swim speed (30ft). Not seen any stats for whole aquatic elves though.
