I never rdoubted him

Where is he then? If he's alive but doing nothing, then whats the point.
I subscribe to the version of NL that holds them as a once loyal, hardworking Legion that degenerated over a relatively short period of time. As Kurze withdrew and succumbed to his own personal demons - so too did the Legion. But there were still Terrans, and non-criminal Astartes in those ranks. With the leadership failing from the top down, the criminals and degenerates were able to run rampant, and the Legion began to rot.

Kurze never bother to purge his Legion like his brothers did. I am sure some had misgivings about the direction the legion was taking but all indicates that the vast majority even among the terrans just when along with it.

/tg/ Give me a good reason why Norden didn't get banned at TCG?
>hurr extintion get banned hurr
>>43580436
Instant Fusion sucks in TCG, and all the other combo pieces are limited
>>43580436
Because Yugioh's banned list is created for the sole purpose of pissing off competitive players rather than to make a good competitive environment. Keeping it around would piss more people off at this point than banning it just yet (and they're probably going to reprint it soon if they haven't already, I haven't been keeping up on reprints), only to ban it when you least expect it.
>>43581199
Actually, it's more centred around killing the top decks so that competitive players will have to buy up new product to carry on playing the game. Konami deliberately kill off all the top decks every 6 months or so before you need to cash out and buy into a new one. It's like rotation, but much more wallet-bleeding and soul-draining.
Could we have a diorama general? I love these things.

Derek Meddings is a fucking legend.
Man 40k was such a great game wasn't it /tg/. Too bad it only got 3 editions, I think they should have supported the game more.
>>43580202
40k was never good.Fun maybe.
I started playing in 2nd Edition, but I got my first real army when I bought the Starter Box for 3rd.
I still have my rulebook. It's amazing.
You know what my favorite part is? How there's that picture of the Emperor on the Throne thathasn't been Photoshopped and colored yellow for some inexplicable reason.

>Photoshopped and colored yellow for some inexplicable reason
I don't have newer books, what is this? Please, someone show me.
Who are the most "logical" examples of Traitors? As in those who are more mind-over-matter and dedicated to their mission, not just fucking skulls.
The most bro-tier? Are there any that can be considered this?
The most organized?
The least edgy-for-the-sake-of-being-edgy?
Pic not necessarily related.
>>43580125
Alpha legion fits all of that
Thousand Sons are very non-edgy considering the majority are mindless robots incapable of independent thought anyway. They mostly keep to themselves but will fuck over anything to get to that shiny new McGuffin they have their eyes on.
Most organized... probably either the Black Legion or Red Corsairs, due to having an active leader, Abaddon and Huron respectively.
As for most bro-tier, I can't say. I heard Blood Gorgons aren't that bad though, despite the name.
>"logical"
Iron warriors.
>bro
They're traitors not your bros.
>organized
Word bearers are the only legion that remains a legion.
>least edgy
Probably the alpha legion, but only because they've got no real defining features or personality. The retcons haven't been kind.
>The Russian zoologist Dmitry Belyaev bred tame Siberian foxes from very wild ones in just forty generations.
You know what this means don't you?
That you should be on /his/ instead of /tg/ ?

That... no, I got nothing.
That breeding fear-reactions out of animals redistributes their stiff ear cartilage?
Why didn't the Emperor, beloved by all, reveal himself and lead humanity to the stars during the first ascension of humanity before the Age of Strife?
>>43579903
Maybe he thought humanity had a chance, with him just gently nudging from the sidelines?
>>43579903
Because they where doing fine before then.
That made him mad, so he made the Men of Iron to ruin everything.
Emperor was a warlord born towards the end of the Age of Strife.
Anything else you hear is just Best Korea propaganda.
What is your favorite character you ever played?
I once told my group I could handle playing a wizard, when I had never done so before.
I then made my favorite character ever, an apprentice mage who got his master killed because he couldn't tell powdered iron from silver and ended up on his own in the world. He went around telling everybody he was his master, the greatest wizard in all the land.
Little did anybody suspect that his dungeon delving for arcane secrets was fueled by desperation and guilt. He craved so desperately to be worthy of the name he'd stolen, knowing full well how wretched he was.
I'm...

Probably a Kobold Spellsword. Maybe not my favorite character concept, but definitely the most fun to actually play.
Magnus Novus, tech priest malatek in DH. Believed flesh to be the equal of the machine, and spent spent his time developing drugs. He specialized in studying psykers, and was attempting to research a method to turn normal humans into psykers.
My group was as scared of me as they were what we were fighting. Especially since I was the medic.

What happens when space marines unionize?
>>43579149
They combine into a larger, more powerful space marine.
The Imperium purchases the union leads then executes them for heresy and treason. Then they label any Space Marine supporters as the same.

Aren't the Chapters already unions?

When can we get the skill system fixed?

The skill system can only be fixed by a full rework so that there isn't a spell that automatically bypasses the need to properly invest in any skill.
Either that, or a full removal of said core spells, which I don't really like.

Yesterday I ran a The Haunting campaign, and at a point, one of the players asked themselves "Who is it that awaits in the dark". The party hopelessly rolled an Occultism test to try and find an answer, and they unsurprisingly failed.
I sarcastically suggested one of the players to roll a Cthulhu Mythos test- They had a 4% chance of success, so I thought it wouldn't do any harm.
But it turns out they actually did achieve success, and I was caught off guard- I looked it...

I've never played Call of Cuthulu. What's it like? Is it more about the atmosphere?
>>43578978
Basically, at least when i played the combat was merely a ornament.
The keeper role is to transmit the horror to the players.
>>43578902Corbitt is a sorcerer, maybe a lich. The rest is just flavor.
The Haunting is a short adventure, not a campaign. CoC campaigns are legendary for being complex, long, and very deadly.
When you roll skill checks for clues related to the central mystery you should have results prepared for failed, close, passed, and superbly passed rolls. And don't place red herrings or dead ends in those options, just degrees of success or additional flavoring. It's a nub mistake and can stall the tension....

How big is a dragon? And I mean exactly, to the inch, and it MUST be true of EVERY dragon in EVERY setting. I demand a single correct answer that applies to everything. Dragons cannot be different sizes.
>>43578770
Exactly as big as it needs to be.
They increase in size as they age.
As big as my dick.
