You watch passively as runes carve themselves into the spaces left blank in the arrays nearest bronze dome at the center of the room and the enormous lump of twisted iron now rising from within. Before your very eyes the tendrils crowning the strange device begin to unfold, stretching almost as if the fingers of some monstrous hand until they embed themselves in the stone pillars framing it on either side, all save one. The central tendril instead stretches upward, its jagged tip just barely touching the carved stone hanging above.

Curious, you've only ever seen it as a disembodied soul. You didn't think it possible to access physically, yet here you are staring at a doorway into the space between. Fog spills across the floor, spreading almost as if a living thing across the floor of the chamber.
