You are an immortal, one of the stars chosen few.
youve come to the big (oddly animated) city with your new friend jess, and already seem to have met the criminal element.

donny is very charismatic, much in the same way a well cleaned gun is.

the path from the club to a restauraunt was a short one. your now seated inside a nicely furnished japanese restaurant.

"so anyway, cliff." he says, getting comfortable. "your a smart man, anyone can see that. i have some work, see, that requires brain and brawn in conjunction, and my current goons are too specialized. what do you say? will you help me out?"

"its nothing much, just a couple of deadbeats who owe me money. id usually just send the goon squad, but they've got some... features that make this tough. one of them may or may not be a giant snake. depends what time you engage her. all you need to do is find them, kill them, and bring me their star oil."

I'll look into it. Where can I find these deadbeats.
(I don't trust this guy at all, but no sense getting hostile right off the bat.)

Sup fa/tg/uys. OP from another thread, 404ed now I think, asking for advice on how to properly QM. Well, I decided to grow a pair and take the leap. I have been reborn as SUQM! Rules are as follows. Voting will be 5 minutes, and rolls will be best of 4. Critique is begged for, as this is my first time QMing. Wanna be the best I can be.

Ural Mountains - 2200 HOURS

You don't really know why you had thought it best to stay at the frozen, spooky base, but time has since passed and you've had a short time to regroup and think things through. Nothing has happened... yet... but it certainly seems as though something odd took place here. Opulence has kept track of nearby movements, and nothing particularly interesting has come up. Despite a number of tremors that seem to come much further than can be detected... nothing has come of that either.

Hoping to get more information, Opulence has taken it upon himself to reach out to more trusted pilots that he knows from the wide variety of factions. It is still really, really cold. While your suits have no issue keeping you alive, and the dropship nearby serves as a good place to sleep and eat, venturing back out into the cold seems to consistently have adverse effects on the world around you.

As a note - the mission takes place at nighttime, in a spooky base in the frozen Ural Mountains.

Ideally, you would have opted to do things in the daytime.

Daylight lasts from around 11 to 3. You missed your four-hour window, because you were sleeping off the mission and/or enjoying a not-spooky meal inside the dropship. This seems like a massive oversight on part of someone, somewhere, but you're a bunch of fa/tg/uys in mech suits going to the Ural Mountains to investigate alien space magic, so you're used to these kinds of circumstances.

This mission will not have a registry, so it is assumed that there is open registration for this mission before hitting a player limit (I'll likely cap it at 10 or 15).

Please include combat builds in your first post, but be aware that they may/may not be used in this mission.

Any players joining later will be fluffed as responding to the call from Opulence. Any players who appeared in the previous iteration but are not present for this mission will be fluffed as staying on the ship.

The rolled number was 7.

Due to the last part of Frostbite being run over Skype, there is no archive for the previous part. Any questions concerning what happened last game can be answered OOC or IC, depending on circumstances.

It is assumed that any players who were previously in Frostbite are on the dropship.

Show was seated inside the spooky Barracks, on one of the beds, idley tending to one of her doves. Mostly checking the equipment to make sure the frost hadn't damaged any of it.

Well, she knew that it probably wouldn't be damaged, but she worried like that.

You are Tsukuda Ryouta, a Shinigami of the 12th Division, an investigator of abnormal occurrences

You are searching the Human World's Berlin for a human capable of using Kido. Without an identity, appearance, or even a clear trail to follow, the investigation is quite difficult. Your partner, Kirino Moeka, the Shinigami in charge of the local area, has unwittingly named a new suspect. You decided not to take any chances - determining whether or not he's a threat comes first, and it might be too risky to be patient.

Your plan is simple - you'll force the man to take action. You'll pretend to assault him and see if he's capable of retaliating. If he is, then your mission is practically accomplished; in the event of a fight breaking out, you'll send Moeka a signal via the Denreishinki, and she'll promptly make her appearance to cut the human down. The red haired girl seems reluctant to go through with this plan, but she doesn't refuse.

The old man and his wife that Moeka's mentioned live in a three-roomed flat on the third floor of an apartment building. For a Shinigami, entering any place within the Human World is absolutely trivial - physical objects present no obstruction, and heights are easily circumvented by specks of spiritual energy. You leap through a window and its curtains, ending up inside of a kitchen.

You walk slowly, deliberately accentuating your footsteps, so as to make your presence clear to all those capable of hearing it - and even so, those capable of doing that are a tiny minority among humans.

You open the door to the next room, though you were just as easily capable of walking straight through. You enter a bedroom dimly lit by a single candle. The opened door turns a thin old man's graying, bearded head, who has been reading a book in a Japanese futon - not a bed - up until you've entered. After a short pause, it becomes clear that he's looking directly at you. He's spiritually aware.

"...Shinigami-sama? May I help you?" He asks in fluent, respectful Japanese. Of course he does. Moeka doesn't understand the local language well enough, so he must have used Japanese with her. Yet another trait that makes him more likely to be the human you are searching for, as the Kido formulae are written in an archaic version of Japanese. And to add to that, the man is clearly of asian descent.

You draw your sword. The old man doesn't seem to know what to think, observing your actions with a mixture of interest and mild horror. With purposeful slowness, you send its keen edge towards the book, slicing it cleanly in two, each of the old man's hands now holding a single half. You draw your weapon back, preparing another wide and sluggish swing.

With a scream, the old man rolls out from underneath his sheets. The swing quakes the candle's flame, sending the shadows into disarray. The sword cuts only the air above the pillow. The man, concerned more for his own life than for the weapon's path, doesn't realize that it was just a feint. He scrambles along the floor, struggling to think of an escape path - the only way out of this room is blocked by you.

You swing again, making a cut along the bare wall, missing the man's face by inches. As he crawls around, he backs himself into a literal corner; you point the tip of your sword at him, but the human isn't look at it. His head covered by his hands and put up against the floor, he mumbles for mercy. It seems that he's given up completely. There was no retaliation, even though you've provided him with plenty of chances.

You spot an old woman warily peeking through the doorway at the ongoing events. She seems too scared to enter, and she doesn't flinch under your stare. That must be his wife. Moeka said that she isn't spirit-sensitive, and it really does appear as though she's looking right through you. She can't really do anything here; it's best to just disregard her for the time being.

But even so, this man is strange. He fits too well under the profile of your target, even though he apparently isn't. It feels like disregarding this as just a coincidence wouldn't be right. Perhaps he's somehow related to it all?

...

>Try to remedy the situation. Apologize, try to get information from him in a peaceful manner.
>Intimidate him. Try to get information by threatening him with death.
>Tell Moeka that everything is clear, call her in here.

The second day of the (un)friendlies are upon us and /tg/ is up against /o/ in half an hour. Right now it's our bros /co/ vs. /vg/

>what is this
An online soccer tournament pitting the various 4chan boards against each other. Each team chooses 23 memes or bits of board culture as players, set up tactics and aesthetics, and play against each other with the AI controlling each team. Just unofficial matches today but the 2016 Winter Cup begins in a few weeks and /tg/ hopes to repeat its success and win again like in 2015
For more information check out the implyingrigged wiki

>why this thread
To get some board feedback heading into Winter. /tg/ is hoping to revamp its roster and get some more representation instead of having so many 40k players, and new ideas for kits or player models is always appreciated
So please let us know why the team sucks, why this thread is bad, and why we should all feel bad

If we are going to add new players to our roster, I suggest Sarge from the All Guardsmen Party, he'd make a great midfielder

other than that, do we have Edgardo on the team? What about Crazy Hassan?

The apocalypse has finally come. With Monsters, the undead, and disease spreading around. Will you survive?

Anyone read through the lifepath preview for the RPG? I really like it. the forcing of some random elements in your character's life is pretty realistic and can make it actually fun getting a character together.

How do you use the peacemaker? I'm going to proxy one in my few games to see if I like it

I personally love it. It could be good both for one-shot silly characters as well as something to really roleplay with. I like the fact that it nudges you to make backstories for your guys.
Also I've made a Tunguska paranoid catgirl Daktari. That's a mark of a good system right there.

Bioshock (Original) Jump question, ADAM packages 1-3 all say increasing number of Plamids and Tonics you can get for free. Do they stack? Like if you buy 1, 2, & 3 do you get 10 Plamids & 10 Tonics free?
>>
>>44956928
Pretty sure they do. I also think that in Burial at Sea you could use EVE or Salts to recharge your powers, so if you grab the Tonics that help regen EVE you will also refill your Salts for Bioshock Infinite Vigors.

Despite being very similar I'm not sure if Vigorous from Bioshock Infinite would make you any better as using Plasmids. I assume it would, but there's no note of cross-jump interaction in either jump, so one of the jump makers would probably have to confirm it.
