I'm actually not quite sure. I'd probably start by telling all three ponies the situation. I'm imagine Dash might volunteer to die, being the element of loyalty and all. The other two ponies would probably be quick to volunteer after that, to try and stop her. Fluttershy would probably have the worst case of survivor guilt ever if she survived.
I guess I would spare Pinkie and Dash, on the grounds that they would be most likely to be able to come to terms with their friends death. Whatever I picked, though, I'm sure the survivors would hate me forever.

Watching the skies is a pastime that is hardly dampened by explicit season. Viewing conditions might be somewhat affected, but if it's clear to romp around in the snow, it's clear to stargaze. That which lies in the aether remains a fairly constant source of inspiration and study - not least because much of it isn't under discrete pony control (sun and moon notably excepted). That's how it seems, anyway.Some kind of astral pony-like creature with comet control like a windingo's cold would just be an old pony's tale. Right?

What you see here began as a series of comedy-centric stories with the concept of an alicorn-ascended Princess Applejack trying to change a mismanaged Equestria for the better by humorously interacting with the other, quite lazy, princesses.
Not to mention a whole bunch of Changelings with nothing better to do but cause mischief.

That of course didn’t help much, since ponies still wrestled for control over the toffee mines, the greenest grass to roll around in and many other things, and this time with civilians taking part in the conflict. Since that kind of situation was inexcusable, because some ponies ended up having to come back home after dark, and because some ponies just didn’t want to get cuddled. So another edict was created.
>Now, ponies who wanted to, could get hired as mercenaries and work for ponies who needed someone who knew how to boop in the right way. But there were rules of course, the most important one being that you could only fight with other mercenaries, or you’d only get no marshmallows later
