Are there any real life oper8tors on /k/? SAS, FFL, MARSOC, Green Berets, etc? Wannabes we have a lot, we just need to open gear threads but real life ones I highly doubt it.
There was a roo shootin legionaire on here a while back who jumped into Mali and provided a massive pic dump, probably close to a hundred photos. It was awesome. Probably one of the best threads I've ever seen on here. Complete with FAMAS /k/ timestamp photos. To say OP delivered would have been an understatement. Had a buddy who was a medic in a Ranger bat who used to browse regularly, not sure if he ever posted. There's probably a few.

What does the B-52 do that the B1-b doesn't? I don't know much about bombers so I don't really get why we still use the old b-52s. Sure they are cool looking, but that is what the b-2 is for.
They're around primarily because they're still flight worthy and buying more bombers costs money, and so they just exist as bomb trucks.

As a gun owner in a very anti-gun state (NY) I am terrified to seek mental health treatment because I fear it will one day give the state an excuse to disarm me. I have near crippling depression and some sort of anxiety problems, not sure what to call it, but I cannot bring myself to seek help.
I am not a danger to myself or others, but the latest gun-grabbing technique seems to be anonymous reporting of people seeking treatment to the authorities, with the idea being they are put on a list and then denied next time they try to buy a gun. I am not sure if NY has done this yet, but I'm sure they'll try it soon.
What should I do? Continue to not seek help, and hope it works itself out? Should I seek help, risking not only my favorite hobby, but my rights as well in the process? Am I just being paranoid?
I hope leftists are happy, they are only making the problem worse for myself and many others like me.

Hello Ameri/k/laps, e/lit/ist here. I was just watching a history channel episode about "area 51" and I was wondering if any of you finely trained combat experts ever had the privilege to work in a secret military base.
I've heard over the years they denied a bunch of stuff, only to confirm decades later it was true. What I'm wondering about, is with all these advanced weapons they revealed to be a reality, what are they covering up?
It's logical that they would distract the populous with something inconsequential, while keeping the real gem hidden.
I've seen one of the higher ups in the companies that build planes quoted as saying that what is in the public realm is decades behind what they have in storage.
tl;dr How many of you worked in secret military bases, and what were your experiences? Any of you got to fly experimental aircrafts, or retrieve crashed aircrafts?
