Ok so I'm currently deployed to Africa and a buddy of mine in our Recon Platoon has a friend stateside who is a Leupold dealer, and he is able to get everyone in the company any Leupold product they want at 50% off. So I started looking at their products because HELL YEAH!! And the only thing I've seen that I like is the D-Evo. But I have no experience with it and don't know anyone who owns one or has even used one. It's Leupold so I'm fairly confident in it's durability, but I'm just curious if anyone on /k/ has any firsthand experience with...

depends what you're actually doing. There's not much superior of an optic for an AR than just an acog on a ar platform.

We need to organize a /k/ommando demo team so we can destroy it while it sits in the dry dock. We're going to need a lot of tannerite.
If someone can join the military due to past mental illness such as ocd or anxiety, what are some other ways to get adventure? What are some non military /k/ related jobs?

Run moar fagget.
Lung capacity and endurance are number 1 priority for modern pilots. The rest can be taught.
What's your protocol if someone gets the jump on you and pulls out a gun, do you try to draw or what?

Why aren't we seeing massed drone attacks yet?
Can you imagine a swarm of drones with explosives attached attacking a city? Surprised no terrorists have thought of this.
>>29270816
Because it could literally be defeated with a shotgun.
Because the FAA forced registration of drones, so now terrorists can't use them or they'll be found out!
Nah. Actually I've been wondering this too. Makes more sense than a suicide bombing, and you wouldn't even need explosives. Just fly it into a jet engine on take off. I'm sure some psycho will eventually do it, just a matter of when and how.
>>29270859
Fuck I was thinking of this the last time I was on a plane, a drone into each engine just after take off and this thing is going down to the ground packed full of fuel.
Picked up this SLR-106FR today.
Runs very well.
Appears to be zeroed perfectly from the factory.
Smoke mags are a bit difficult to get in place, black mags fit great.
What have you bought lately?
>>29270138
One of my goals is to have an slr in each of the 3 calibers within a year or two.
I already shoot everything but 762x39 through an ak, but I just want it for collector's sake above all else.
>>29270138
Always nice to see another 5.56 AK. It'll do you well as long as you don't want fifty mags. Here's my newest baby:

Which cerakote color is that, and where did your gf get the grips. Also did you have the barrel cut down to exactly 2.5?

Hey guys, I need some advice. Bestfriend's house burned down and killed all of his guns. He's in the process of replacing them but I picked up his 1911. I'm wanting to salvage as much as possible from it and rebuild the thing. What should I soak it in to get it to where I can take it apart?
I wouldn't trust the chamber or barrel of a gun that had been exposed to that kind of heat for extended periods.
If you do fix it up, don't use it for anything other than a wallhanger or conversation piece.
That thing is fucking wrecked. You'd be better off scratch building one...
Can I salvage the frame at least? That way it's legally the same gun

Some of my favorite are when the writer remembers that lasers come in a whole lot of different flavors. A rather fun book series a while back had a gamma ray laser pumped my antimatter annihilation.
Also of note grav guns that use staged gravity generators to throw a projectile, much like a gauss rifle but with "down" instead of magnets.
Somewhat more far-fetched were warp grenades: small FTL generators that just shunted the effected matter into hyperspace. Sorta feels like the ultimate fuck...

Thanks anons...only thing I am worried about is the rifling in the pic, also the lack of the safety lever on the right side. New safety levers easy to get...along with barrels?
Guys. My dad is looking at purchasing a firearm and he keeps looking at Fudd rounds (.243, .270, 22-250 etc.) I keep telling him that practically speaking he should get something cheaper and more available especially since he doesn't reload but he won't listen.
What do? Why do people fall for all of these fucking meme cartridges?
>more available
>implying during the height of the panics fudd calibers weren't more available and relatively stable in price
>>29269243
Take a look at .223 versus 22-250 prices right now.
>>29269259
>available
>stable in price
Where did I ever say it was cheaper, you illiterate memer?
