turning 21 next month, been looking at a bunch of hammer fired handfuns, and narrowed it down to an SP2022 (really leaning towards this) a CZ75 and a couple others that im not considering too much.
Anybody who owns an SP2022, how do you like it? the gun store/range near me has one on sale for about 430$. Looking for one in 9mm. I just need to find a range that'll let me rent one and check it out, and I should be sold

every 226/9 i've seen was closer to 1k, and I'm a broke ass college student who can't really spend that much on a handgun. the sp2022 at the gunstore is actually cheaper than MSRP on sigs website, which is why I'm seriously considering it

In the recent light of Georgia passing the Campus Carry bill, I've decided to arm myself on campus, due to the fact that I carry well over 1500 dollars worth of computer equipment and software on me daily. I really don't know much about guns, but I am willing to learn. Any recommendations? My price range is at maximum 400 dollars. Thanks /k/ keep being awesome. I'd like something like pic related. But calibers and stuff is beyond me.

I just moved to the Rocky Mountain State. Apparently after the the Aurora movie theater shooting they banned magazines holding more than 15 rounds.
However, I've read a couple articles about many gun stores selling "complaint" magazines that are simply 30 round mags with a stopper at the 15 round mark. In under a minute you can pop the stopper out and convert it to hold a full 30 rounds. This is apparently a "gray area" thing to do. Would it be okay to take my AR-15 to a range and shoot a post-ban 30 round magazine off without getting in trouble?...

Took it to a car wash, that got most of the mud out. Apparently I cracked my radiator at the bottom and started losing ATF, so that had to be replaced, along with all my cooling lines and heater core (just old, wear/tear) and front brakes/rotors. $660 total parts and labor.
Mechanic complained non stop about all the mud. Good thing it rained subsequently because I think I finally washed the last of it off. There's still a bunch all over my parking space.
Good thing it's not worse either because...

So /k/, I have always wanted to own a Bow and as such I decided that the time has come to make that dream come true. How should I go about picking my first bow? What should I look out for? Samick sage is a pretty darn good bow. You can make your own arrows pretty easily, just get some 3/8ths oak dowel rod and some survival tape, quite a few good instructional videos on youtube.
