Bullets crooked during seating cause the bulge. Also looks like you are crimping too much.
Flare the case more. You should be able to drop about 1/16 inch of bullet into the case. Ensure the bullet is as straight as possible before pressing.
Make sure you have a taper crimp die, not roll crimp. Only crimp enough to to remove the flare. You shouldn't be crimping so much that you dent the playing/jacketing.

Seat and crimp:
1. Put a case that has been sized and flared into the shell holder. Lower the handle on your press, which will raise the case to the top of the stroke. Then, screw the seating/crimp die into the press until you feel the crimping portion of the die contact the case mouth. Once this happens, back the die out one full turn. Tighten lock ring.
2. Make sure your bullet seating stem is backed almost all the way out. Put a bullet in the case and run it up into the die. At the top of the stroke, run your seating stem down untill you feel it contact the tip of the bullet. Lower ram and continue to screw in seating stem until you have seated the bullet to your desired COL (cartridge overall length).
3. Now, back your seating stem almost all the way out. Run the round back into the die. Loosen your die lock ring and screw the die body down untill you feel it come in contact with the case mouth (again...you did this in step #1). Once it comes in contact, you know that as you screw the die body down further, you will be applying more crimp. Keep screwing the die body down until you have achieved your desired amount of crimp. Once achieved, tighten die lock ring.
4. Run the round back up into the die and at the top of the stroke, screw in your seating stem until it comes in firm contact with the bullet. Now you can seat and crimp with the same die with no problems. Remember, the taper crimp just removes the flare. It should not dig into the side of the bullet.
I got invited to go skeet shooting by some friends at work. Other than just shooting some at a range I've never done anything similar to it. Is there anything I should know so I don't look like a complete ass.

Everyone and their mother will tell you shoot both eyes open. I've found much better luck aiming normally with one eye closed.
Keep the action of the gun open and the gun unloaded until you get on the firing line. Don't aim at the pigeons, don't try and stop the shotgun on a pigeon, follow through your shots. Make sure you got the right choke in and are using 7.5-9 shot.

Sup /k/, weedfag here. Got this nifty fella here to smoke with my buddies and I'm curious about the revolver terminology. Would a single bowl be considered a "round" and all 6 bowls a "chamber?" What's /k/'s thoughts on the AG42 Ljungman? I've been considering to buy one for a while, both for hunting and just range plinking. 6.5x55 Swedish is meant to be a really nice caliber and I want to try it out, but I don't want to buy another mauser. Anyone have one?

Mostly yeah, the SWO stab is real. Most of my collegues were always sceaming against each other to look good in the boards while simultaneously trying to make everyone else look bad. Also there was a fair amount of cheating but that goes with the territory. Being O side is pretty good since you don't have to do the dirty work yourself but it's stressful as hell, especially when you have one or two absolute shitbags in your division that you're accountable for.
Few weeks ago I posted about how my girlfriend locked my guns in the safe I had lost the combo to, well after the locksmith told me it would cost me about 2 weeks, proof of purchase, and 145 dollars, I said fuck that and used a crowbar. Tada!
Well that was pretty shitty safe anyways. Not that the guns in it are much more valuable.
Oh and it only took me about ~10 minutes, and that was because I didn't realize you had to bend the wall where it locks out, so it would have only taken me about 3 minutes knowing that, to anyone that owns a sentry safe like mine.
