I'm doing a project on Southern African COIN, after lurking in some threads I've noticed some interest in Rhodesia. I know the politics of of it can be confusing, but the COIN operations and conventional fighting makes for great reading. I've got a list that encompasses most everything from the Selous Scouts to the Koevoet, even some stuff on how the insurgents fought and received training from the Cubans. Would anybody be interested if I complied a list and paste binned some articles? It would take some time to create, but I've got some free time in the next few weeks.

Does anyone else get annoyed when a company releases a new ammo that's very similar to an already existing ammo?
Small incremental, (sometimes non-existent) performance gains do not warrant giving up commonality with existing products. They could do far more by releasing new guns in the existing calibers and the benefit would less dead calibers and cheaper ammo overall.
It's just such crap when they do this.

Look on amazon. I would suggest anything that is Israeli since they continually make a shit ton for their population. DO NOT buy any thing soviet era. Most of the filters are ineffective and have expired by now. Only go with ones manufactured within the last 10 years.

How does the security of the very rich work overseas? Lets say you're Carlos Slim and you're living in America then yeah your security teams can be armed but he also travels alot to various countries, how does it works when he leaves?
Does his teams get to be armed all the times? Do he gets local security teams? Traveling in private jets alows his people to bend the gun laws?

I did security and medical support for a billionaire family. When they travelled overseas (anywhere - any continent or country) I was able to maintain a Sig P226, a Mossberg 500 and OC pepper spray.
