Hello /k/ommandos, in a couple of months, I will be moving out of my parents' house and into an apartment with my fiance. My fiance's family and some of my friends have been telling me to get a gun for the house, and after some thinking I have come to agree.
I'm a huge russaboo, I have a hard-on for Soviet era items, and I have done target practice with a Mosin Nagant in the past. I'm currently looking into getting a Makarov. Thoughts and suggestions? My backup gunfu is the 1911. Tell me what you guys have for home defense, what I should be looking...

Are airguns the next advancement in guns? The bulldog .357 can shoot a .357 caliber pellet to speeds of up to 800 fps. Thats damn near close to a bullet. It holds 10 shots in its tank and can be refilled super easy if you can a spare tank. With a little more development and advancement I could see these things being really cool
