If you get close enough

>removing snek
WHY?
>>29935823
Because wild snakes are a shit

Ukraine can't deliver weapons in anything approaching a timely manner, so they need to buy from fucking riceniggers instead.
If the diseases never killed 90% of the native population could colonists still have conquered the american continent?
What would be the hang ups?
How would both sides adapt?
>>29935333
There is no such thing as native American porn. I know, I've looked. It's because they are all disgusting obese retarded savages.
If smallpox and measles hadn't killed 99% of them before we even got here we would have just enslaved them instead of importing niggers. So, colonization probably would have been easier and cheaper.
It was the railroad that eventually did them in. They kept fighting until they found out that the white devils could import a new army from 300 miles away, every day, without tiring.
>>29935333
I'd adapt by tapping that fine squaw.
Let's talk about things that we do, that we think other /k/ommandos might or might not do with their firearms.
Here's mine:
>religiously disassemble my revolvers and oil them I'm talking at least three times a week.
>go to the restroom with my AR and an empty Mag.
>pull firearm out and leave it next to me while I play vidya on my PC
>rack the bolt carrier on my sks
>keep all my shitty guns quarantined from my good guns.
Bump
>Mindlessly rack and release slide on my (unloaded) pistols while on the computer
>Randomly pull out AR and do speed mag change drills
The decocker lever on my Sig keeps getting caught on my holster. Can I cut a notch out or will the leather fray? Other options?

Ask questions, get advice from retards on how to lie on the poly, bitch about recruiters, accuse each other of stolen valor, just keep it in this general.
So I'm officially in the DEP today. What should I expect? All my tecruiter said was basically "we'll call you".
>>29935157
They'll call you when it is time to leave.
That is it.
>>29935187
They don't make show up for PT?
What kinda DEP shit is this.
Why is it called IFF when it only identifies friends, not foes?
>>29934759
Because to Americans, if its not your friend, its getting shot down.
Sometimes even if it is your friend.
>>29934759
Newer IFF systems have a signature bank connected to your own radar that can tell you what type of radar you're getting zapped with, giving you a clue what country the unknown/hostile radar set is from, what aircraft it was seen to be mounted on, and how new it is.
So yes, it can identify your foe as an obsolete MiG from the '80s or a brand spanking new Chinese Sukhoi clone.
>>29934759
Because it differentiates friends from foes so that you can say if one is a friend or a foe.

This guy right here
>Marine Corps Lieutenant General Paul K. Van Riper
>Millennium Challenge 2002 war game
>USA plays as Blues, Riper takes Reds (everything points to Iran)
>USA has all the bells and whistles of cutting edge technology
>Riper fucks them up majorly
>Reds adopted an asymmetric strategy, in particular, using old methods to evade Blue's sophisticated electronic surveillance network. Van Riper used motorcycle messengers to transmit orders to front-line troops and World-War-II-style light signals to launch airplanes without radio communications.
>Red received an ultimatum from Blue, essentially a surrender document, demanding a response within 24 hours. Thus warned of Blue's approach, Red used a fleet of small boats to determine the position of Blue's fleet by the second day of the exercise. In a preemptive strike, Red launched a massive salvo of cruise missiles that overwhelmed the Blue forces' electronic sensors and destroyed sixteen warships. This included one aircraft carrier, ten cruisers and five of six amphibious ships. An equivalent success in a real conflict would have resulted in the deaths of over 20,000 service personnel. Soon after the cruise missile offensive, another significant portion of Blue's navy was "sunk" by an armada of small Red boats, which carried out both conventional and suicide attacks that capitalized on Blue's inability to detect them as well as expected.
>the exercise was stopped, the Blue demanded Reds to use radar, reveal their positions and whatnot
>250 million $ worth of exercises and military manuevers all turned into farce, because Blues thought this was "unfair".
Our man here was ridiculed.
>>29934356
>10,000lb missiles being launched from RHIB boats
>motorcycle messengers travel at speed of light
Van Riper was asshurt and wasted millions in tax dollars by fucking up an exercise to try to prove a point.
>>29934356
He is assuming an nation like Iran would use suicide attacks, I don't fucking think so.
The Millenial Challenge pissed off the Bush Administration something fierce. They tried to bury the results because it had major implications for their foreign policy.
Also bureaucracy, both political and military, is usually playing catch up with changing conditions.
This is just annoying

There's so much wrong with this picture, I don't even know where to begin

Does anyone like trijicon sights?
I wish I could get an eotech, but I haven't heard whether they have redesigned their holographic sights after the lawsuit...

Buy the Pro and spend the rest on ammo and mags.. win win OP
>>29934249
I hope you don't have astigmatism, I found that out when I bought my T-2 so now it's sitting in the drawer.
I also have a tavor, great guns

This
couple of years ago I was in a live-firing exercise with a mortar platoon, we would direct fire for 81mm mortars in a range that has been in use for decades, at one point the one of the smokes fired by a mortar went over the backstop, but as the area behind it was closed off except for a maintenance road that we were monitoring we kept firing, the round generated some smoke before dying out. An hour or so later we noticed that there was smoke rising from behind the back stop, and it wasn't the kind of smoke that the smoke rounds we had been firing generated.
FO -team lead: "Doesn't that smoke look like something is actually burning?"
Me: "Yeah it does."
Instructor: "Time to call the fire truck to put it out"
Me: "...Say, how many duds fired by various mortar teams do you figure have landed there over the years?"
The fire truck came and put out the small bush fire without setting off any dud fragmentation grenades, but in the meantime we were all a bit nervous.
>>29934248
>Boring military stories.
You have to report duds, they are removed periodically.
Better story:
>Afghanistan 2008.
>155mm shooting ILLUM.
>Ammo form the fucking 60's
>Some burn up much too fast.
>Others just explode mid air.
>One burns through its chute.
>Falls to the ground behind some houses.
>Keeps burning.
Next day a farmer shows up at the FOB with the burned legs of a donkey.
He was given some money as compensation. Poor animal.
I'm not in the military, but i did work with my dad on base. it also left me with a distaste for marines
>Camp Lejeune
>dad was a contractor often fixing their jeeps and shit
>has me changing oil, antifreeze, tire rotations and mopping shit up. easy work.
>go outside for a smoke break
>God damned fetus in the parking lot
Like, what the fuck.
>>29934750
>Fetus
How the fuck did that get there? Pls explain
