Hey /k/, I'm not really a gun expert. I recently acquired a Peacemaker and saw that .45 colt is a fairly large round. I was wondering if .45 colt is stronger than .44 magnum, or would it be weaker because of black powder?

Hello /k/, nogunz /his/torian here. Could you please tell me the main differences between the two guns' bolts (tilting vs rotating)? I heard that the AK 47's rotating bolt was very similar to that of the Garand? How did this affect the guns characteristics? Which one was better?

Garand use a two locking lug bolt, with bigger bolt face, first Kalashnikov use a two locking lug bolt with small bolt face, AK-46 and AK47 use a two locking lug bolt, with bigger bolt face. yes the AK bolt is similar to Garand

For civilians/police, probably .32 ACP. I can't imagine asking somebody to rely on .25 ACP.

/k/, a coworker offered to sell me a Romanian ak assembled from a kit for $350. I don't know too much about it yet other than it has composite furniture and a tapco trigger. Pic related, what it probably looks like. I'm an AR guy, any thing I should look for? I know to make sure the fsp is not canted. Seems like a good deal and I may do it.
