/k/, how many of you have already picked up yours? As far as comfort, I'd give it a 10/10. Because knowing you're on the right side is always the best feeling. How will you all greet our UN liberators. And if they aren't greeted with open arms, what weapons would they use to root out the treacherous capitalist pigs?

Ha! Love your post.

One of these days I'll get to start a blue helmet collection. Each helmet will have a hole in it.
>This obsession with the UN.
Why? You couldn't pick a more harmless enemy than a UN taskforce.

/k/, Are Taurus revolvers any good?
Does anyone own any and would like to share their experiences with them?
Also dubs decides which one I buy, under $400
>>27968802
I have three. Mostly bought out of curiosity.
The first is a .44 Magnum Tracker. Five shot medium framed .44 magnum. Hotter loaded .44 is sticky on ejecting. Good trigger. Handy woods gun.
That lead to 990 Tracker, nine shot .22 LR. Double action trigger is pretty bad, Single action is nice. I put an optic on it for a rimfire silhouette match at the club. It will cut a half inch hole in the paper off bags from 25 yards.
Last was a large frame 608 eight shot .357 Magnum. Bought from a freind who...

The 990 Tracker with a Weigand rail and cheap red dot.
>>27968802
Just buy the Ruger.
They are better made out of better materials, and are an American company with good customer service.
Pic related, Taurus quality.
Is a revolver that can use .410 bore shot shells and the .45 Colt cartridges awesome or fucking retarded?
I've never shot .410 before, but it seems hilarious. Like a baby shotgun.
>>27968708
It's kind of a novelty, but with the right ammo, it works okay. What you've posted is the Raging Judge, which is a .454 Casull that can also fire magnum .410 shells. It's sort of silly, but awesome.
>>27968708
it's the snake gun to end all snake guns.
other then that you can shoot some wacky .45 colt loads from it and a few surprisingly decent .410 defensive loads
>>27969007
What exactly is a "snake gun"? Too cold up where I am for snakes. I know "bear gun".
Are snakes that dangerous that they need a special gun?
My qt3.14 GF is almost fully anti gun.
She has agreed to left me teach her how to safely handle them (basic rules, what not to do really) so she can be safe, but how can I get her to like them as much as I do?
>leaving for Navy RTC January 14th, so time is limited to help her along.
>Inb4 navy fag, I have a 0000 corpsman contract and am actually in shape.
Ask her why she hates guns and then inform her its just metal and other non organic material much like a car, hammer, kitchen knife or plate.
Have you ever been hit in the head with a plate? Fuckers hurt and leave a nasty cut. I know I'd rather be shot than having a pissed off Gf throw a plate at my head.
>>27968519
I haven't thought about that correlation, thank you.
>>27968502
Show her all the anti gun arguments and then show the facts, and show all the anti gun politicians making fools of themselves on stage and point out why, back your side up with real sources.
Basically tell her she's being had.

>I know I'd rather be shot than having a pissed off Gf throw a plate at my head
I feel like someone already hit you with one in order to become as stupid as you are.
I own a Russian Baikal IJ70 - 18A 9mm Makarov. Those who are familiar with Makarovs know that the only difference between the commercial Maks and the military Maks is adjustable rear sights on the commercial ones. Does anyone know how I can obtain the screw that would allow me to adjust the rear sights from left to right?

Ok i've got a moral dilemma.
First of all i live in commie Sweden so the gun laws here are... pretty draconic.
But i decided to try to get a license for a singleshot 22lr revolver, you can get those on a hunting license for killing trapped badgers and the like.
I just figured since i can get one i should get one but the only one they had at the store was a mint condition S&W M17 from the late 50s and they offered to weld 5 of the chambers shut so i'm allowed to buy it.
They wanted 900SEK for it, that's about 80USD
I've always loved...

I can't urge you strongly enough to get out of Sweden. Things are only going to get worse.
>>27968273
Jesus H. Christ.
Save the gun and get something else, OP. Your first impulse was correct. that's like only being able to buy an economy car, so you get a Maserati with all cylinders but one welded shut. Fuck.
>>27968289
I'm looking in to just that to be honest.
This ship is going down,
Thinking about moving to Canada or the US but how in the fuck do i even go about bringing my guns with me since i'm pretty sure i can't just show up at the border with a sack full of rifles demanding politcal asylum ;)
My gf wanted to get a carry gun, and ive already taken her to stores and let her poke around. So far, she really wants a .380, preferably striker fired. But, almost all the ones shes tried are too small.
Are there any .380s out there that don't look like they came as a prize in a cereal box?
>>27968077
Maybe one of those bersas.
Try them. Honestly though, I thought the only reason that .380 was still a thing was because of being able to be in guns like that...
>>27968077
glock 42 in all seriousness. Its slightly bigger then other .380s in its class and seems to fit the criteria. I don't think it was as bad as people complained about either
>>27968077
Beretta 84 or 85.
Best 380 there is. 84 is double stack with 13+1 and 85 is single stack 8+1. Expensive for a 380 but well worth it.
Is there any point to buying a bolt action in this day and age, other than children pretending to be elite snipers?
>>27968033
They're more accurate, tend to come in bigger calibers, are stupid simple, and often times just plain fun.
Most surplus rifles are bolt action, meaning they're cheap too, which makes them good rifles to start with,
>>27968033
More accurate than semi for their price range.
>>27968033
>what is fun
Looking for someone who knows bows as well as guns around here. I know little about bows and want a hunting compound.
What would you say is the "Glock 19" of bows? Aka, it's not the cheapest, not the most expensive, but I won't regret buying it in 2 years.
I don't want the "hi point" or "SIG limited edition" of bows... Just something decent. What do?
Also bow general.

Much of the information regarding archery is hollywood myths and spun up falsehoods from archery "clubs" that purport to teach specific ancient styles. Lars has done the grunt work for the archery community in exposing these falsehoods and myths for what they are, scouring an enormous amount of ancient texts and illustrations, digging down to the core of true archery. It's important...

Afternoon /k/,
My fellow brothers at arm from /pol/ want to know what are some good self defense weapons (Can be from Small arms to even improvised weapons).
>>27967730
AR-15 with defensive rounds, 9mm with HP, Mossberg 500...the list goes on.
>>27967793
What about for the Eurokeked countries that aren't alllowed/ are strict to hold firearms?
>>27967832
Slambang shotguns/cannons.
Knifes. Historical maces. Mace. Mustard gas. Brass knuckles. Nigga there's so many ways of death it's not funny.
Hey /k/,
So how will you prepare for civil war when Hillary bans your "salt rifles?" What would you do? What gear would you buy? What preparations would you make? What guns do you bury?

So, my grandfather is gifting me one of these rifles, he told me to choose between a remington 700 and a steyr ssg 69
need advice,Which one is better?
Steyr blows Remington out of the water.
>>27967377
Assuming it will be a new manufacture Remington, the Steyr is a better quality rifle (an a very cool action to boot). However, if aftermarket is important to you the Remington will be the rifle to have.
>>27967422
I Saw them and they're pretty worn off a bit.
