Poorfag feels edition.
>Be me, at range
>Shooting 100 rounds of Tula .40

Feels pretty good, actually. I expected worse after all the shit I've heard about Tula handgun ammo
>>27958886
>Poorfag
>Bought a .40 gun
Why?
>>27958886
Who the fuck clears FTE's with their fingernail
You realize pistol extractors are spring loaded for a reason right? They snap over the cartridge base.
>>27958886
I think your gun needs a new extractor. If it left the case in the chamber, but the case wasn't stuck, there is something wrong.
Find a flaw, /k/

Is it some sort of GW drive at /k/ at the moment?
First, picture is not mine, stole it from someone else here in a previous thread.
Just took my Tikka T3 in .308 out to ~600-700 yards for my first time and got it on target (10" steel disc) in 5 shots, it was only bore sighted at the gun store before. Happy as hell to finally have a place I can get between 500 and 1000 yards while in the mountains; we setup the targets on one side of the mountain, drive on the trail to the other side of the valley and setup there. Had a lot of fun and I think the long range but has bit me.
I was shooting ZQ1 M80 surplus and...

Here's me taking a few shots at it. Was pretty damn cold.

Do you have any info for reloading on your rifle? OAL and what not? Or are you looking for some basics?
WHY IS EVERYTHING IN MY COUNTRY SO FUCKING EXPENSIVE
I ALSO HAVE TO BE 21 TO BUY A GUN FUCKING BULLSHIT
Whats the max range for .223 a friend wants to use it for goose hunting
I'm a recovering alcoholic. I've found that firearms are a good distraction to the boredom of sobriety. I've got all of my basics covered and now I want a project gun. Something to buy and over time to slowly transform it into my pride and joy. The role? Medium range shooting of targets and twice annually, prairie dog hunting. I would like to engage at up to 400m. I don't want a semi-auto and I don't want to shoot rimfire. I want it to be powerful enough to humanely kill up to coyote-sized animals. What does /k/ recommend?
Pic semi-related.
Why would we give a fuck that you're a sorry ass drunk? Just ask about your varmint gun.
Tikka T3 in your choice of caliber. Sako Finnlight if you're rich.
OP here.
I was thinking maybe a Savage 12 LRPV Left Port
in .204 Ruger or .22-250
>>27958678
>Tikka T3
What caliber would you suggest?
>MFW No one I know that has a Cannon safe has changed their code from the factory default.
>>27958643
Well I thought it was amusing, anyway.
I changed mine before I got it out of the box all the way
Guilty as fuck
Why is this allowed? Seriously needing mod/janitor feedback on this shit. Are these off-topic and can we report them? If not can they please become off-topic and get pruned already?
I swear a third of the reason alone why /k/ is so shit nowadays is because of these fucking threads.
>>27958541
QTDDTOT seems to have died completely in the last few weeks, aside from there being 3 of them going at once usually.
I recommend stickied scrolling QTDDTOT so theres only ever one going at once with auto prune
And your pointless thread shits this board up just as much faggot.
Fuck off
>>27958541
What does your thread have to do with weapons?
Shitposter OP...

America why

Dick Cheney killed the f14
Here's a question /K/. I've heard it's better for your barrel to shoot brass cartridges as it doesn't wear it down as much as steel. I've also heard the money you save while shooting steel can more than make up for the worn parts that steel makes in your gun. What's your experience?
>>27958416
Not OP but does shooting this bulk stuff in an AK even matter?
>>27958434
If you don't clean, it can corrode the mechanics.
>>27958416
by the time you wear out a barrel you will have spent thousands on ammo
Hey /k/, I'm looking for an entry-tier pocket light. Will the Streamlight 66118 do?
I like my Microstream. 35 lumens is plenty for any sort of tasks close at hand. 65 would be plenty good.
However, the size/shape being a pen doesn't really interest me as I have the light in my back pocket... may bend or break sitting on it.
I think I may move up to the Protac 2L
TLDR If you are ok with the pen shape go ahead, Streamlight stuff is good
>>27958384
yes
>>27958415
>>27958384
+1 for microstream. I use the fucker every single day.
is this a Lee-Enfield or a Mosin?
Its a jawa
>>27958362
>can't tell the difference
Go away newfag its an Enfield
>>27958362
Jawa ion blaster, you dunce.
So I bought my first semi-automatic shotgun. It's a Winchester m140 (pic related). I have a couple of questions if /k/ want to help me out.
Can I shoot without a reducer on?
Can I shoot both buckshots and birdshots with reducers?
How do I tell reducers apart? Which one reduces more and which one less?
>>27958226
Wat
And by reducer I mean "chokes".
(Europoor here and english isn't my native language).
>>27958291
You know the removable chokes that determine the spread patterns?
OFFICIAL UK 2015 STRATEGIC DEFENCE AND SECURITY REVIEW THREAD: WE'RE DOOMED EDITION!
>What is it?
Basically every five years HM Govt has a big meeting to decide how much of a kicking it's going to give the British Armed Forces and Defence Industry and this year's SDSR promises to be a real scorcher.
>Why should we care?
Because it can impact larger scale shit (purchase of F-35, NATO operations, etc) and it's a fun exercise in despair, fantasy fleet burning and hilarity.

I plan to buy a gun. Should I take a 1911 or a glock ?
>>27958199
neither, both are mediocre at best.

Vp9. Thank me later.
Between the two, definitely the 1911. However if you want to go more modern look into the FNX 45 or the Sig P227.
