Can I get and opinion from /k about the CF-105 Arrow. A lot of Cucanadians think that this would have been an awesome plane. However Ig et the impression it would have been at best an above average interceptor.
Remember, that other nations were coming out with planes in the next few years after the Arrow program cancellation such as the. Mirage, F-4 and F-8 fighters.

i normally don´t browse this board, but i am very interested in weapons lately. And i´m sorry i have to ask this.
I bet these kind of threads are annoying as fuck to you and get posted everytime, but i always come here and look at the catalouge and i don´t find them.
My question is what is the best assault rifle? When i look for lists on the internet i always see shit like ak47 or m16. Which makes absolulutly no sense. I mean sure it´s important historically, but it´s obviosuly not the best in terms of performance.
I just want to know, if you were a crazy motherfucker and went to fight isis with your bros right now. What rifle would you take?

Alright /k/, I've got $900 and I want to ask y'all about what I should buy next. I've been eye balling a Argentine Mauser 1909 for $650 ($720) after taxes. It's numbers matching, shiny bore, stock and finish is perfect. Thing is though, I don't really have a "fighting rifle". All I own is milsurp. This is the first time i'm going to spend more than $600 on any firearm. So any advice is appreciated. Any 1909 owners? Pic related.

Actually an aircraft delivering bombs is more cost effective, per sortie. A smart cruise missile has a high cost just for one sortie.
Does anyone else really not like handguns?
I was going to get a handgun to shoot but I really would prefer a long gun because honestly I am worried I will commit suicide with a handgun, whereas it is alot harder to turn a longer gun around and aim it at myself.
Has anyone else felt similarly?
Its kinda like when I'm afraid of heights; I'd never jump in a million years, even back when I really wanted to die. Because falling to me is just the worst way to die, even though it;s over pretty quick. But like, the possibility that I COULD jump, or that the bridge would collapse, is what kept me away from the edge, even when there was a railing. A full window was better, but it still freaked me out.
Same with handguns it feels like it's too easy one night when I'm sad to just pick up and put next to my ear. I don't have to even go through the trouble of hanging up a rope and stepstool, I can just go for a walk somewhere there won't be much to clean up. But with a longer gun, it's like, it's too long to point at my head and still pull the trigger without a stick or something. Like that will make it suddenly safe. It's a weird feeling.
Anyone else feel this way?

If this is a real concern for you then you shouldn't be around any firearms period. Yes, you can shoot yourself with a full length rifle or shotgun. People do it every day.

Can anyone value this pistol for me? Some guy wants to trade it for my AR which I have about 1380 into and Im trying to figure out how much its worth, I see them going for anywhere between 700 and 2500 dollars.
Its a Polish P35, all matching serials, with the takedown lever, the grips may not be original. but it is Nazi Marked and would look nice next to my P38.

I started browsing 4chan around 8 years ago. Started off at /b/, as most do. After awhile, I migrated to other boards. Mostly /tv/ and /k/.
It was just another board on 4chan I had interests in.
Is this a good amount of ammo for a bug out bag? All I have is a 10/22.

Personally I'd go with a different choice of ammo. I've found the sharp shoulder on those hollow points sometimes causes failures to feed in my 10/22. Nothing critical, but enough to shy away from as an only choice to rely on. YMMV.
It's alright. With a 10/22, win ammo will suit you just fine.
What else you got in your bag?
I'd recommend a shotgun if you can get one. Moss berg is good.
