Currently a nogunz anon looking to buy a gun. This one has gotten my attention the most. Anyone have information and little factoids on how well it handles and shoots, price of ammo?

Bad choice imo, ammo is hard to find and you will not appreciate it as much as cheap ak or ar ammo.
I am also new to guns ( I got my first three within the last 4 months) and I can def tell you that I shoot my mauser way less due to ammo cost / it being a harder recoiling gun. Milsurps are great, but I would recommend an SKS over this, and if you are going with an SKS put down 100 more and get an AR/AK

I don't actually know what "snappy" recoil means. I just parrot it because I've heard other people say it.
and I can't really feel much recoil difference between my m9 or my 1911.

I own a few guns and like to shoot them but my love for firearms comes from a general love of disassembling and figuring out how anything works like cars, electronics etc. Guns are just another machine that I like to tinker with plus the added benefit of going to the range and shooting paper

Alrighty /k/ Colorado HasAGun here. Mag looks like a 7.62 one. Stock and handguard are Magpul.
What do you think of Rock Island 1911's? Reliability and quality, that kind of thing. A large amount of people are happy with it, but I'm also finding a few people saying they get jam often. Anyone here have actual experience with the RIA 1911?

yeah, mine works just fine. some faggot might come in and say they're all garbage and none of them will ever make it to 500 rounds. but I've put 2500 through mine so far and haven't had any issues.
Just bought one yesterday, already put 100 rounds through it. Only 1 failure to extract but that was due to the magazine. Get a Wilson Combat 47 or 47d magazine and you're golden. I'm in the process of going for a handgun license at the moment, and I'm looking at safe requirements.
The SSAA has their own requirements which are far stricter than anything in the law, and are frankly completely impossible - especially if you're renting.

They say you need a 5mm thick safe, but I can't find a single safe for sale with walls that thick - even a $3500 53-gun safe at the local gun shop.
What does /k/ recommend? Is there any possible way to meet their requirements, or should I just get something else and try to convince them to sign off on it?
