I am currently in college studying criminal justice go become an officer and an eventual SWAT team member, what kind of armaments can I expect?

>>28692756
Yeah for killing dogs, there's really nothing you can't use. 9mm, .40, 12 ga, .223/.556- they'll all do just fine.
Hopefully they'll give you pic related just to fuck with you.

why can't russia?
S-ducts and DSI both require complex computer calculations of the altered airflow, or else you'll get compressor stall.
They can. Pretty much anyone can. The real question is why they chose not to. Someone at Sukhoi fucked up.
>>28692251
Even India can. AL-41F1 not made for s-ducts.
Post videos of police shooting niggers, beating niggers or using pretty much any force. Bonus points for non US law enforcement.

You're a funny guy
Why aren't Western militaries upgrading their MBTs in response to the Armata?
Because no one cares
>>28691942
Why would they? The armata is an overrated hunk of shit, painfully pushed out of Putin's shriveled rectum to make dipshit slavs worldwide go ballistic about how the US is dying because they didn't waste all their money on a reskined IFV.
At least the criticism of the f-35 made sense.
There are modernization programs in swing (as there should be) but they've been around since 2007ish.
>>28691942
1. It's shit
2. There is zero possibility of the west facing it in battle until it starts being sold to third world countries.
Will be moving to California for a job. What firearm restrictions will I need to be aware of before moving there? Trying to figure out which guns I'll need to "get rid of" (hide)
go home atf jamal is fucking your wife
>>28691805
You don't have to get rid of anything, as long as you don't have NFA items.
If you have centerfire rifles with a pistol grip, you'll need to put a bullet button on them.
If you have standard cap (over 10 round) magazines, then you can have them, but they need to stay disassembled. If you want to use them without getting boned by the law, pin them off to 10 rounds.
The handgun roster blows, but that only applies to new sales.
>>28691805
Ten round limit on long guns
Magazines must be fixed or only removable with a tool
No pistol grips
Probably a bunch of other stupid bullshit. Why don't you just Google it?
Are there any European gun owners on here?
Honestly why are Euros so anti gun?
They let the liberals take over and never could stop them from doing anything that wasn't done in the name of being "progressive" and making the people reliant on the nanny state.
>>28691034
Plenty.
>>28691034
Goes from country to country. In Sweden cityfags all hate and are afraid of guns, while most people on the countryside at least have a bolt-action, mainly for hunting. I think the reason most people haven't felt a need for guns is that our society has been very safe for decades (which is not so much the case anymore, but people are in denial about that).
But yeah I think there are a lot of gun owners from Europe on /k/, it's a nice forum regardless of nationality and gun laws where you live.
More specifically, being under the influence while using handguns, rifles, etc.
>>28690605
Don't get shitfaced and play with guns.
You increase your chances of shooting yourself or someone else when you do.
A beer or two I think is acceptable, provided you don't over do it. And drinking/cleaning your guns goes hand in hand.
Tl;Dr know your limits and don't be retarded.
>what are your thoughts on handling tools that have lethal effect on people when you are losing control of your mind and body
>>28690605

Ma nigga. But seriously don't operate a weapon while under the influence. You may end up shooting your neighbors child's room on New Years

> "Ruthless Cody Wilson could put the lives of hundreds of innocent Brits at risk by handing terrorists the ability to build 3D weapons . – as fears grew that IS thugs may launch a Paris-style massacre on UK soil with them."
In Britain The Onion is basically real life.
>>28689825
wow what a slow reaction to this story, did they break some kind of record?
>>28689825
it's literally easier to build a gun out of metal that isn't shit, when will normies realize that 3D printing is just a stupid fucking meme that is only useful for creating quick prototypes of stuff? 3D printed objects are very crude and not strong enough for most practical uses.
Do you have a gas mask /k/?
Why do I like gas masks so much
>>28689269
You want to change that?
Run 15km in your gasmask ans you wont love them anymore
>>28689269
You love them because they look neat. Actually use one and you'll hate them
Because you're a child.
Does /k/ no longer like the SKS? I never see anyone talking about them anymore.
SKS prices have gone up, while AR-15 prices have dropped.
>>28688170
/k/ no longer takes sks and goes innawoods, its now a dragon dildo and your furry boyfriend with his CZ collection
>>28688170
they're too expensive now.
>inb4 some canadacuck mentions how he can get for $5 and a handjob
In a world of fanboys, hype, marketing, stereotypes and newfags, what is the least douche bag gun you could actually carry?
Steyr?
>fully supported chamber
>geared to hand loaders and +p rounds
>triangular rails,,, triangular rails!
>crazy but good factory sights
>great company
>Haven't met any complete douche bags with one yet, probably due to small market share.
>>28688059
it's slightly less hipster than the five-seven and the people who own it feel the need to justify their purchase and how great it is because they paid $450 for a glock clone
>>28688059
I want one of those so bad. They look like a phaser or something
Do they make threaded barrels for them?
>Guns are douchebags
Do you think guns kill people too? What kind of fucking moronic thread is this. I know people who carry Glocks who are great, and who are douchebags. Same goes for 1911's from various manufacturers, and M&P's etc. etc.
Guess what it isnt the gun that makes them douchebags or not
fuck off retard
t. steyr owner
The Vortex Viper line really is my favorite intersection of price, quality, and features.
The only challengers to it are the SWFA SS line (but I hate their reticles) and the Bushnell Elite optics (whose turrets I prefer, but they lack NVG illumination settings).
>>28688052
>but they lack NVG illumination settings
Why would you be running NV behind a magnified optic instead of a clip on with a precision rig?
>>28688078
because I already have a PVS-14, and you can ONLY run those behind your optic, since they aren't collumnated.
It's wonky, but it works--and I don't have $5k+ to drop on a clip-on to put in front.
>>28688114
>collumnated
*collimated
what can you tell me about this mosin?

>>28687895

It's a shitty poorfag gun with very few redeeming qualities to it.
I fell for the Mosin meme back in college, and regretted it. Fell for the M39 meme as well, and also regretted it.
Hey guys, I' curious to see if there are some (if any) bullpups that /k/ would recommend?
The only one I seem to keep coming across is the IWI Tavor, but I'm wondering if there are any other ones that are worth looking into that aren't too close to $2,000.
My only real preference is that it's in 5.56, but I'm open to other calibers.
>pic related
>>28687523
Yeah, if you want a bullpup but don't wanna spend $2000, your only option is the Tavor or the RFB.
>>28687523
Streyr aug. All goddamn day.
>>28687564
Sheet, guess I better start saving.
>>28687615
Totally forgot about that one, reckon it'll just come down between this and the Tavor.
Hey just throwing this out there; what do you guys think of the bullpup kits like the HTA 90/22? Does anyone have any experience with something like that?
