This is going to sound extremely autistic, but does anyone else hate restaurants? Fast food is usually more tolerable, but I hate restaurants.
Too many unspoken rules and niceties to be observed, so many poorly defined codes for what you or they should do in any given situation.
Not to mention, I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant that served food better than I could make it. I'm a friendless loser though, so maybe friends are a reason to visit restaurants.

I have had a love affair with fried rice for several months now. This Thai restaurant near me makes the most flavorful and delicious fried rice I've ever had. Recently, I started cooking it with oyster sauce, garlic, onions, and chile powder/paste. It is pretty good but I feel like there's more I can be doing. Anyone have any good tips?

Fried liver and onions is a god tier dish for example.
It also depends heavily on what animal the liver comes from and what age it was. Young chicken liver for example i sometimes grind into a pate and you wouldn't even know it was liver if I didn't tell you.

Kinda new to this section, but I've gotten decent at cooking butter chicken and I'm wondering if people can give me feedback or discussion on how to improve it.
I usually use:
Chicken breast (enough for however many people I'm feeding)
A brown onion
2tbsp of butter
cup of cream
1/2 cup of greek yogurt
1 cup crushed tomatos
2tsp ground cumin
1tsp turmeric
1tsp ground coriander seeds
(1tsp chili powder if people like it spicy)
So what I do is I slice the onion and chuck it in the pan with butter on low heat til it goes...

Sounds good, i'd do garlic, ginger, and chilli with the onions. Deseed the chilli if you don't want it hot. Also boneless thighs are far superior to breast meat for curry.
