French food is incredibly stagnant. It relies overly on fat and ridiculous amounts of knife work, french cooks are complete shit in actual working conditions.
Modern chefs and cooks don't want to spend 3 hours of their day turning veggies and bruinoising shallots, they don't want to spend 5 hours of their week making equally sized florettes, food has moved beyond what made french cooking popular, and France in that regard is stuck in the past.

For some reason /ck/, when I eat certain dairy products like ice cream, yogurt, or sour cream I get really sick to my stomach. Cheese and milk, for some reason, are fine though. Can any food experts tell me why that might be? Like what's the difference between some dairy and others?

Incidentally I have the opposite problem. I can't handle milk or cheese except in the smallest amounts, but I could eat a pint of ice cream and feel absolutely fine.

Oatmeal. I hate the texture especially if it's made with water instead of milk. I force it down every morning because the fiber gets my gutty works moving.
Tomato. The taste overpowers virtually everything it's in for me and makes everything taste like rusty water, but it's in so many foods that people make for guests that I've long since given up telling a host that I can't stomach it.
The only exceptions are ketchup and cheap pizza sauce because they've been processed and seasoned beyond recognition.

Will they really give me stomach ulcers? I go to a college with a large campus which i live slightly off of, so I've gotten into a habit of stopping at a convenience store near my apartment at the end of the day and picking up a bag a few times a week. My girlfriend's Mexican and she eats them with cucumber and lemon juice. Her sister had to get her gall bladder removed supposedly from eating too much of the same thing but I have no idea if that's actually why.

I had three wisdom teeth pulled when I was in the Army. At the time, I worked as an Infantry NCO processing recruits through the 30th AG in Fort Benning, GA. As you would expect, Army dentists aren't as sharp as their civilian counterparts. The Major left me with a dry socket twice. I ate jello and drank tequila for weeks. I picked up a bottle of pic related a few days ago, it's definitely hotter than their red sauce but has great flavor. I'm tempted to try ghost pepper sauces but it seems like the heat would overpower any flavor

Louisiana Hot Sauce, Tobasco, Frank's Red Hot, Tapatio are what I've, included what OP posted.
Nando's peri peri for chicken, vegetables, fish and occasionally other meat. Cheap whatever hot pepper sauce for anything else, as long as it has some sweetness and acidity to it.
