Apple juice is used in a lot of juice blends because it's cheap and fairly neutral in flavor so they can use it instead of water and still get away with saying that it's "100%" juice.

i've been using a cheap one like pic related from my gramma's house since my shitchen aid stripped it's own gear during normal use
i was planning to get a better, industrial mixer but the bread machine has been perfectly adequate for all dough related projects i've put it though so far.. i have a hand mixer also that has also outlasted the kitchenaid by many, many years

I just don't like the hole that the mixing part of a bread machine leaves in the bottom of a loaf when you bake in it.
You could always just use it to mix/knead dough for you then take it out and bake it in a pan or on a stone or whatever, but you can also do that with a stand mixer, as well as beat and whip things in one as well so it's more versatile than the bread machine.

Guys I forgot its a friend/coworkers Bday tommorrow and I had mentioned i would bake him something like a month ago and I want to follow through, I have no idea what to make. Hey /ck/, I went on this camping trip this weekend - One of the boys made chili - I had made it clear that I am Jewish and dont eat pork but after eating dinner I was cleaning up the trash and saw a packet of panchetta - turns out he had sauteed the onion in that to begin with.
I freaked the fuck out, made myself puke and made the person who had driven me drive me home (it was a 3 hour drive). I feel totally justified in doing this - was I in the wrong? I mean I look at it like if someone said they were diabetic and you served them a bunch of sugar or you gave someone with peanut allergies peanuts.
