Container of oatmeal for elevenses, with fruit. Lunch is a hefty sandwich or one of the 10 lasagne portions I put together at the weekend, if there a microwave at work. A litre of water per six hours minimum keeps fatigue away. One cup coffee max then endless cups of tea to keep me going

It depends on what kind of salsa you're making. I fucking love habaneros, but they have sort of a sweet almost citrusy taste. That goes great in a mango salsa or a chutney. But IMHO it's not so good if you were making a generic Mexican-inspired red salsa. For those I use jalapenos and arbols instead.

Put some flour and butter in a pan
Put cooked pasta into pan
Add cheese
Wait to melt, constantly mix

In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add equal amount of flour. Season with salt and pepper. Whisk to combine well. This is your roux
Meanwhile, prepare your macaroni. Any noodle is fine, I personally like using cavatappi for macaroni.
Warm some milk. Use 1 cup of milk per 8 tbsp of roux. Or just eye ball it, whatever works. Slowly add the WARM (not cold, not hot) milk and continue whisking.
