Where did this "taco bell gives you the shits" meme come from?
I've eaten there several times and never had any problems. And I don't even eat fast food that much so its probably more likely to fuck my stomach up than people who eat FF on a regular basis
Maybe the people who say this should stop order XL nacho belle grande crunchwrap burrito supreme taco double decker chalupa shit
Curious about this as well.
Also wondering about the origin of spicy food "giving people the shits"
Seriously, I have eaten a lot of Taco Bell in my life, and I've never once had a bad digestive experience.

I ate Taco Bell once in my entire life. It was pretty good, but I shit my pants on the ride home. The stomach cramps preceding the shit explosion were so bad I almost drove off the road.
I had a nearly identical experience with Indian food. So I just don't fuck with the Bell or spicy food anymore.
I bet it's genetic, like lactose tolerance.
I got this baco noir because I had never tasted it before. I'm not sure if I like it. I hear wines described as "foxy", is that what this means? Maybe it will grow on me, I took a whiff and a sip the instant I popped the bottle.
Also, wine general.
no fucking cue.
i do know that if you decant Carlo Rossi burgundy for an hour, people assume it's a hell of a lot more expensive than $8/half gal.
"Foxy" replies to flavors associated with grapes in the labrusca species (like Concord or Cascade) rather than vinifera (basically all European varietals)
The taste is like Manischewitz or grape juice.

As a follow-up:
Baco noir is a vinifera-ripera hybrid, so the grape is partly native north American. So you might indeed be getting the foxy character.
Any opinions or personal experiences using a Pit Barrel Cooker? Looks interesting, seems to get some pretty good reviews.

$300 is a fucking ridiculous price.
>>7043262
Agreed. $300 is a retarded price for what is obviously just a modified barrel. You can get a much nicer, larger grill for that price.
What's for dinner? I'm going with a comfort food, mother fucking hot dogs in baked beans...honestly I know it's shit but who doesn't love it?
Anyway, what are you having?
>>7043223
Agree that pork sausages and beans is a classic and delicious combination, but I'd probably draw the line at hot dogs and baked beans, because it's just too fucking degraded. Also too full of sugar.
But who the fuck am I to talk? I was feeling lazier than you. My dinner tonight is bread, hummus, olives, pickled turnips and a bottle of wine.
>>7043223
cracked pepper and red wine angus beef snausages on a bed of carrots and beans softly supported by fine strained mash tatties combined with sour cream and chives, salt and pepper to taste.
Pork sausage with small sweet peppers and cherry tomatoes
And a weird ass bottle of canadian wine that I'm trying to make sense of
hello coo/ck/s! I'm looking for a cheap yet fine chili recipe. can you help me?
>>7043199

Yeah slash your neck and let the blood drip in the pot, it won't taste good but at least you'll die
I am in a situation here.
I have friends coming over for my birthday this weekend and a few of them are girls who don't like the taste of beer or doing shots, so I am planning to make some sort of lemonade drink.
Any ideas on recipes? I have never made mixed drinks before so I have no idea what I am doing, and what mixes well with things.
I was thinking of getting some of pic related, and just mixing it with some flavoured Bacardi (either black razz or lemon flavour)... does that sound like it would be alright?
If not, what mixes well with lemonade?

Get the lime-ade make margaritas
>>7043172
No idea how to make that, can you point me to a good recipe?
>>7043194
Dude fart you - you can use google to learn how to make a margarita
Here is a recipe that is pretty sweet - it's called Panty Dropper
30 rack of Natty Light
Handle (maybe two) of bottom tier vodka
Pink lemonade
Tequila if you fucking feel like it
Throw it all into a big water cooler or one of those Gatorade dispensers they throw on coaches after sportsball
Stir and enjoy or don't - I'm not bothered
Bump if you wanted to choke a customer on their own lower intestine tonight!
Arsehole table wanted 5 well-done steaks 10 mins after closing time. Manager was around and she's a cunt, so I couldn't say no.

What's some healthy food that I can easily pack and eat almost anywhere (or at least on a bench)?

carrots and cucumber with hummus
I want to make split pea soup with chicken for a family meal tomorrow night and I'm asking for tips for making a great split pea soup. I'll be doing it in a slow cooker with dried peas and chicken breast, chicken broth, carrots, sweet potato, onion, celery, and cabbage.
What would you do with it?
Also, what should I serve with it? Crusty bread? Any unique alternatives to bread come to mind? How do you round out soup for a meal?
Thanks, /ck/.
Split pea chicken lol wtf. Its ham and pea soup. The saltyness and ham fat change the pea goop into something edible.

THIS IS BAIT

spaghetti is a type of noodle IE an ingredient
carbonara is a completed course
