Wrong. Casual filth players who think it's "the most important achievement" or "the final goal" or "a big deal" kill quests. Maybe the QM if he can't pull it off properly - writing a lewd scene in an otherwise non-lewd quest that is.
To be fair, I'm not at all familiar with the quest that brought up the problem this time, but in general, a sex scene doesn't ruin anything IF it is well executed by the qm AND the players aren't overly autistic about it.

One problem with lewds in quests:
Every QM and every player seems to be under the impression, that it always has to be an overly explicit pornographic scene that goes on for 1-2 full posts.
Why can't it be a sex scene like in a movie? Describe the situation, maybe show tits and then cut away or just make it an aesthetically pleasing romantic scene - just in text form.
If you're running a non-lewd quest, you should have the freedom to put in sex - because that's a normal thing people do - but don't be more explicit than fits the tone of your damn quest.

That's worked out perfectly fine when it's happened. Ironically the example that comes to my mind is Unique with the ChalkxPitch sex. The players were fine with there not being a description since the event happening is what mattered. Then he offered to do the lewd scene in a pastebin and still hasn't done it almost a year later.
