As a QM, I love when players just have silly idle banter with each other while waiting for updates. And even if you have nothing new to add to a prompt, just posting a simple "This" to another suggestion is very helpful and much appreciated. Things like that make the quest feel livelier and give the QM more motivation.

They do the opposite for me. I feel good for a while after receiving them, but then when I start working on something new I feel even worse about it than I did before because I don't think it looks as good as people are expecting it to, and then I just don't feel like working on it at all.
