Started playing SFV.. Lost every match online. Are some people just not made for fighters?

What controller and character?
It's just a hard genre to get into
I picked up SF5 as my first fighter too and I've played about 30 hours and I'm still only about 1500-2000 LP in the ultra bronze range. Maybe look up some basic tutorials and it's a good idea to stick to one character you like instead of spreading yourself too thin

But yeah, I fundamentally suck at certain aspects of timing and precision, so even after hundreds of hours I'm only just above average.

Why do they try to make gay characters in games ALWAYS mention that they are gay? In almost every conversation with a gay character they have to bring up the fact that he/she was a great person.
I just don't understand... I have gay friends and they refer to them as a partner, not a wife/husband. I'm not against homosexuality, it's just video game writers must have no fucking idea.
