Now that Dark Souls is done, where do you guys wanna see From go next with Soulslikes? Demon's Souls II? Bloodborne II? I for one would like to keep those one-offs and would rather a different aesthetic, like Greco-Roman Souls for example.

Why haven't you subbed yet and joined a corp to take part of a war that will shape EVE for years to come? Don't you want to take part of all of this?Just a fucking shame it requires skill training and skill training and so on before you can actually have fun. EVE sounds better on paper than in realitywhat do you guys think about EVE?

Yeah that is the unfortunate case of many. Looks beautiful, feels so nice flying, sometimes things can be fun but it often wind up being just "log on to train skills" and not really getting to do anything. AFAIK the game has a problem with losing a lot of new players.

Oh yeah for sure, it looks incedible and its really nice just floating in space. I quckly found that there was always a bigger fish, and it was too late for me to have any real freedom.
I could either stay independant and zap asteroids/rats for a living or join a corp and be bossed around the entire time. That barrier is way too much for a lot of people, including me.
But it does make for some great war stories. I especially love hearing about the spy games.
It's irrelevant that PS4k is not a new system. It's irrelevant they share libraries (well they better). PS4k is more powerful. Eventually devs will start targeting their games for it's added power. Then the regular PS4 will get the stripped down version missing all the effects that make it look decent. Or they'll knock down the resolution, or just not give a shit about the frame rate and you'll be playing a game that runs at about 24 fps rather than 30 and you'll need to "upgrade" to PS4k to get 30 fps.
What happens when they're targeting 1080p 30fps like they currently do only now that is the target on PS4k? You'll end up with shitty looking PS4 games, or the PS4 version will be 900p 25(ish) fps.
This is going to be like PC games running at minimum settings vs higher settings. Except you don't get control over the settings. Incompetent devs who ship broken games do. So I can't turn off motion blur or chromatic aberration to save some fps. Instead I have to tolerate the motion blur and chromatic aberration and for the privilege I get 25 fps.
You can complain about it but then all you'll hear from consumer whores is "Why haven't you just bought the PS4k yet, anon, don't you want to be a good consumer whore?" No, I don't. I want a box that plays the game acceptably that lasts for 7+ years. I don't care about graphics "stagnation." I don't want to have to pay 800 dollars for a console gen. I barely find any games now worth playing anyway, why would I want to pay 400 dollars every 3.5 years to play 3 games? If it just comes down to it I might as well just quit gaming rather than pay so much for something that is offering so little.
That's the PC experience. Nothing new.
