Are there any Sonic games released in this century that are actually worth playing? Even before we hit 2000, the quality was starting to go all over the place. I haven't really followed the games since playing the Genesis ones though, except for hearing about the trainwrecks that are '06 and Boom.
I honestly don't know what to tell you, conventional opinions on Sonic games are almost always wrong and stupid, there's also the off chance that you're a hiveminded idiot who eats up whatever shit a e-celeb said about the games, so..

Generations, Colors, and the Advance series are all great. Lost World, the Sonic Rush series, and Unleashed are all okay depending on what you want from a sonic game. If you want to press right to win, play Rush or if you like mixed platforming and beat 'em ups, check out Unleashed.

Very few. Here's some highlights.
Sonic Advance 1 - actually a decent successor to the classic games. Last bation of quality.
Sonic Generations - Relies a lot on nostalgia. Notable in that the 'classic' gameplay actually tries to play like real Sonic. Doesn't get it even close to right but it's the first game to even try it since Advance 1 and that's nice.
Y'know, that's all I'm really gonna recommend. If you like the 'moden' segments in Generations then maybe think about looking at the previous couple of games. Maybe.

Hey guys, do you think that the Catarina armor would actually work in medieval times? Like would it have any advantages over other types of full plate? I'm not sure if the fatty looking rolls would help you or hinder you.
I would guess there is a reason why armor like this wasn't really used (to my knowledge) but what is that reason aside from "it looks like an onion/fat"?

I'm pretty sure the design is made to counter blades, as in slash/standard attacks, when slashing this armor, the blades would just slide off, and the best approach against it would be using a blunt weapon or half swording a regular straight sword.
No because any amount of increased protection wouldn't be worth the huge weight increase and lack of mobility it might have
Also the sections where the armor folds in on itself at the stomach and near the upper chest would help an opponent in landing a direct hit with something like a mace or warhammer - same reason why boob plates are stupid

The same is true with actual armor

Pretty sure it would suck, literally
If you tried to stab someone wearing it, half the time your weapon would slide away to the user's sides, but half the time it would slide into one of those fat layer indents
At that point it's easy to put a large amount of force into thrusting your weapon forward, since it's been caught in the fold of the armor instead of deflected away.

So I started with Bloodborne, beat it, loved it
I wanted to see what the big deal was with the Souls games, which Bloodborne is kinda in the same vein.
Holy fuck, this game sucks ass.
