I played a couple hours of Fallout 4 yesterday at a friend's house, and I really liked it. I'm interested in buying a Fallout game, but should it be 4, or one of the earlier games in the series?

Nah just go for 4 mate. Fallout 3 is pretty much obsolete, but New Vegas is still worth playing for the story.

It was good, but the pace was really slow and it made it tiring after a while. 13-2 was great and lightning returns too but they got hindered by the slowfest this was
