Can your PC run Dark Souls 3? You have less than 2 weeks to buy parts so you can run it.

I'm sorry, OP.

Shoot her with arrows. It will stay stuck in her and give her position away

AMAZING
More like time to buy a PC.
Maybe if you guys buy it enough you'll get the third game uncancelled :^)
>>332395720
Fuck sakes it's about time they released this.
>>332395720
nah fuck you crapcom. I'm not falling for that shit.
Good to see scalpers getting btfo'd.
So we are about 2.5 years into the new consoles and look at how many games there are. What in the fuck is happening? Why are there so fucking few games, not even just exclusives, coming out for these new systems. This is probably halfway through their lifespan as well. I doubt they'll go on as long as ps3 and 360 did. I give them 5-6 years. So tell me, why at the halfway point are there so few games? Is it because every game company is trying to make a massive blockbuster and it's taking way to long and when the game comes out it just turns out to be decent at best?...

I could name plenty of games i've played this gen for handhelds and consoles, but they'd be dismissed as >"weebshit" so I'm not even going to bother.
The Wii U took risks. How did that turn out?
>Is it because every game company is trying to make a massive blockbuster and it's taking way to long and when the game comes out it just turns out to be decent at best?
Nailed it.
>I'm just asking if we can try a little less hard on making a AAA game that most likely won't sell well or won't actually be triple A and just focus a little more on venturing out into uncharted waters or take some risks?
Independent devs are the only ones willing to take risks, and they mostly release for PC.
how bad is it?
>>332395530
It's decent. I had fun playing it.
Too many cutscenes ruin the experience though.
Way too many cutscenes. Shooting is good.
>>332395530
The Good
>10/10 gunplay and soundtrack
The Bad
>Too many cutscenes wrestling control out of your hands way too often and a story that is just serviceable
The Ugly
>Irritating, overused video effect
Max Payne 1 and 2 always felt dynamic to me, I have often replayed them.
Max Payne 3 had a great gunplay, killing them was satisfying and the animation work they did with it is impressive.
But it was not as replayable as the previous entries, I appreciate the idea of carrying few guns for making him look always "on the run" but for the series it was portraying it meant a step back from the choice you had, the whole "old school" idea of keeping the ammo for when it really counts or being able to waste away or choosing the right tool for the right job.Comment too long. Hey /v/ i have a question, is UT2004 still played?
>>332395131
Occasionally there's a guy from /v/ who hosts servers but the only servers that are really alive anymore outside of that are RPG Invasion servers or DM Rankin.
>>332395131
At any given time every game ever created is being played by someone somewhere.
You're never alone anon.
>>332395131
Probably. People still play Unreal and UT99, after all.
>/v/ WILL defend this
10/10 dungeon that was easily doableprovided you had six hours to waste and already knew the layout beforehand.
>>332394761
I like it, its one of those maps you can get lost in for hours if you're not careful. But when you do know it you and your friends can skip parts, run directly where you need to be, or just go lava swimming to get attuned.
>>332394761
>what if From made a WoW dungeon
>calls out shady practices like Day-one DLC, and on-disc DLC
>Honest, and fair in his reviews
>Doesn't take crap from corporate shills
>Destroyed Star Wars Battlefront
>Destroyed Street Fighter V
I think he's pretty based. One of the only reviewers I still trust.
Does /v/ approve?
>has a pre-built gaming pc
Who was this guy again? I only remember him as the dude who was totally burnt by our based lord Doritopope.
>>332394716
No, i don´t. He talked a lot about "two worlds 2", and when i played it wasn´t all that.
That castle defense DLC was the biggest crock of shit i ever played, and i bought because of him. His fault.
Literally every multiplayer fps would be better off without the sniper class.
>>332394109
>multiplayer fps
>with classes
Every FPS would be better without multiplayer.
>>332394109
not wrong, however since it is a type of troop seen in the military, it would make little sense to not have one as well. Imagine if a historically accurate game had a bunch of weapons from WW2, but not a single Mosin-Nagant, or Kar-98k
It would just be madness
I mean, I know it's the age of the internet and all that but fucking just look at this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5apu4ML9Wto
there's so many fucking secrets around every corner, and it saddens me that modern games rarely have maybe 1 or 2.
what games should i play that are filled with secrets /v/?
bump for discussion
>>332393856
people break into the game's files all the time
just look at MK9 when some guy cracked the demo and leaked CSZ.
They revealed every single character in MKX.
there are secrets just as much as there used to be. it's just that they're all spoiled to the point that nobody sees them as secrets anymore.
So now that the dust has settled can we all agree that like Bloodborne from 2015, this is the GOTY.
>like bloodborne from 2015
so you mean it's also forgettable garbage for a niche crowd that won't win any awards?
And just like BB, this will not win GOTY because of another Skyrim clone or progressive interactive story or some shit. Fuck you.
>>332393032
>sonyggers shilled the VGAs on /v/ for weeks, encouraging everyone to watch it because they thought BB was going to win GOTY
>their surprise when it didn't even get "Chromatic Aberration of the year"
>there was like 7 threads going on at the same time of poor lil fanboys crying their eyeballs out
It was a sonygger tear buffet that night. hahah!
>more people bought the new Senran Kagura and DOAX on /v/ than Day of the Tentacle
This is why gaming is dead
Don't where you're getting that information from, but I planned on buying it. Never played it before and I was always a fan of adventure games.
>>332392659
>more people bought new games instead of a game from 1993
Yeah, that's why gaming is dead. Not the fact that they're rereleasing a game from 1993.
>>332392659
>more people bought the new Senran Kagura and DOAX on /v/ than Day of the Tentacle
for a good reason
Dont mind me, Best DRM in history is just passing through.
>>332392652
>just passing through.
Like all other DRM
Denuvo saves PC gaming.
>>332393204
Yes, Lords of the fallen, the new tomb raider and Just cause 3 are pretty succesful, GOTY material. Thanks denuvio and pc gamers :^)
>Floating head and hands bosses
These need to stop. I get it, they're easy to make, animate, design, etc. but they're over-used and lazy as fuck. I'm sure everyone on /v/ can think of at least one game that has a floating head and hands boss.
Thoughts?
It's a classic game design, as long as it doesn't appear more than once a game I see no problem with this
>>332391746
They're terrifying imo, true nightmare fuel
The Zeal fight was great though.
