I want to make a Meren deck
It seems like the playstyle would be somewhat similar to my Sheizo, Death's Caretaker deck.
However I could swap most of my weenie black cards for powerhouse cards.
That means the deck would be much better at recovering from board wipes since the power of each of my cards is increased (for example, drawing a 5cmc demon vs a 2cmc 1/1 weenie)
Plus, mixing in green is great because I get access to mana-ramp without needing to break the bank on all those pricey mana-rocks like mana-crypt.
There are so many two-color lands that I'd...

>do you guys think I'm a tryhard if I run a general that was basically made for the format?
Only if it's Derevi. Otherwise no.
>>45990977
Meren isn't one of the most broken precon commanders, so I don't think building her makes you a tryhard at all
And regardless
The most broken precon commanders, prossh and Derevi (and daretti), are only a small step above or below the most broken commanders from normal sets, zur, Narset, Azami, Brago
So I don't think it's bad form to choose a precon commander

Discussion: A central premise of RIFTS is the tension created by people sacrificing their humanity to fight the inhuman.
How has that played out in your games? Do those characters who do take the options to sacrifice their humanity - Borgs, juicers, D-bees, etc... deal with challenges related to those choices, and if so how do you incorporate that without simply making them barred from half the places your players choose to visit?
1. Don't comment unless it is to clarify what part of the image.
2. Have Fun.

Not make shitty threads about it
More fucking classes.
Not just archetypes for existing classes.
More equipment. Much more nonmagical equipment.
A few more feats.
>>45989463
Which classes would you add? Otherwise I agree. Not that 5e is bad or anything.
So what does /tg/ think of this, both as a story and a setting?
>>45989219
Way too heavy handed with Christian metaphors to stand up on it's own.
It's alright I guess, as a product of it's time.
Give Jadis a better chance and since she's supposed to be Satan, elevate her as the Tolkenian Melkor of the setting.
>I'll be back
Alternatively, make her a proper Snow Queen.
>every winter ever is Jadis time
>>45989241
The first couple were okay despite the allegory, but it got more obvious-- and therefore obnoxious-- fast. I never managed to finish the series.
How would you create a monster girl setting which is not magical realm but serious?
>>45989015
Introduce monster boys.
>>45989015
By...not making it magical realm? Monstergirls have proper sexual dimorphism and are treated like monsters and not cum hungry sluts.
>>45989015
>monster girls
>not magical realm
Pick one.
So how long till Bretonnia is kill?
How much will the world improve by having retarded dracoths instead of Grail Knights?

And most importantly, do you consider canon the End Times lore around the Brets being Lileath's toys?

r8 my WFRP 2e career
>>45988629
My money is on the Questing Knights, or the Grail Reliquae, although the latter is rather shit ruleswise, so unlike TG people might not be lusting after it.
The trebuchet is very important for any Bret army, but there are stand ins aplenty.
What's your favourite unit, and your favourite colour scheme for it?
Mine's these guys. Lots of other contenders but the purple n' white really brings something out in empire units.
Most standard races are really generic. Like dwarves are always drunkard master builders living in a city in the mountains, elves are always racist hunters in the forest, etc.
What's some good spins on these races, as well as Orcs, Lizardfolk, Giants, etc. What races do you have in your campaign?
>>45988521
Warforged and goblinoids because im the fag running Eberron.
Also have their jungle drow and druid orks. No real spot for giants and halfgiants because of the setting.
>>45988521
>What's some good spins on these races, as well as Orcs, Lizardfolk, Giants, etc.
Gurps Alien generator, you do it by rolling, but instead of rolling and picking what you get, you roll 3 times and pick the one you want

You sleep in fairly late, this quite possibly being your last chance for a while. When you get up for breakfast, your uncle is already hard at work in the kitchen, but you'll see him plenty this evening, so you're not worried. You eat, then wave goodbye as you head outside.
You are leaving the village to head to the Allied Shinobi Forces Strategy Meeting tomorrow. Today will likely be the last chance you have to talk to many people on casual terms for a...

Elves are, and always have been, inherently tied to magic.
They were dark trolls mutated by the waters of the Well of Eternity, which isblood of a nascent Titan, which is pure arcane power. They are incredibly sensitive to magic and can absorb it with ease, to the point where blood elves who have given up on fel energies will remain green-eyed for decades even if they go cold turkey and get their fix from the now-holy Sunwell.

What are your thoughts on races with minimal sexual dimorphisms?
>>45986667
it doesn't matter as long as they're cute
Humans have minimal sexual dimorphisms and it's already huge enough to make a difference physical capability-wise.

Plastic cement for plastic on plastic, super glue for everything else. It's that simple.

Fantasy women on the fatter side? Hannah the Hammer-style, for people who play the Fable games. Not, like, giantesses or anything. Bonus points for clearly being npcs, or at least particularly grimy or poor-off adventurers.
