Song of Swords is a realistic fantasy tabletop RPG that draws inspiration from historical fechtbuchs, weapons and armor. Its combat system is fast and it can be used for both fantasy and historical/mundane settings.
Call of the Void is a pulpy sci-fi tabletop RPG about fighting space-nazis and hunting giant whales with harpoons made out of the moon. Its combat system is more modern, based in the early 20th century, but can probably handle combat up to the present day.
Here's a .rar archive with the newest version of the rules as well as all related current working documents. At this time the latest version is v1.9.9:

So, should we build a system for Bugworld? I think it would be a good idea, however others have thought to use other systems to run any potential games set in Bugworld.

System building efforts are usually a mess. I'm not that against it, but I certainly would prefer it if it remained system agnostic for now. Usually this means you'd need a more generic system like FATE and GURPS since no other system would find it very easy to run this custom setting.

In Tabletop, you can only launch a Lightning Raid (Teleport Attack) against a shieldless ship smaller than your own, or at least with fewer hitpoints than you have. It's a really easy restriction to miss, but it's critical for balancing H&R raids.
