I don't even want to kill her, really (even if she does deserve it, but that aside, I'm sick of killing established characters). I'd even be content with her calming the fuck down after having some sort of epiphany.
So what are you hoping will be answered by the Chronicles?

So apparently Fiore Dei Liberi describes the proper technique for throwing swords and for blocking thrown swords. What other ridiculous fantasy bullshit has actually been real all this time?
>>46026501
You made a mistake in translation.
Lanzar is translated literally as "throwing" but it's the stab, not the actual throwing.
>>46026501
Hundt described throwing your rapier into an angry crowd.
Gérard Thibault has a spinning rapier play.
Fiore had also a poisonous poleaxe thing.
Many treatises showed how to defend yourself with a hat when facing a sword (not that fantasy when facing thrust-centric swords though).
Pretty much all the Bolognese two sideswords styles, though they were admittedly for show and prowess.

It fits so much it hurts.
Is it bad that I'm mad about how Skyrim was so slanted towards the Stormcloaks? You could free Stormcloak prisoners from Imperials, but there wasn't even an option for the reverse. The Imperials are more or less set up as the guys you aren't supposed to like during the tutorial. They (reluctantly, admittedly) work with Nazis. And why would you not work with the Stormcloaks, when much of the game speaks strongly of their culture and history?
It's sad because I really do like the Imperials and their realpolitik. I enjoy how Legate Rikke has her troubles about which side she's serving, compared to the Stormcloak second who's really just a warrior. I like how General Tulius is intelligent and able to twist the arms of allies with political grace as much as military force. Very Imperial. They could have done more with them - they're not as multicultural as they should be - but I feel they weren't given a fair amount of focus.

For all their love of Talos, they seem to ignore that he founded the bloody Empire, and would probably want to keep it intact.
In a D&D campaign, would Giant Animals be considered an okay enemy to throw at the party in a world where leaking wild magic from ancient ruins causes mutations? I was considering using really obscure animals to make my own hybrid construct creatures, but I didn't know if players would find it too unoriginal of a concept. Also, Garuda wasps large enough to pick up deer or caribou and fly off with them would be terrifying.
Are giant animals considered a legit enemy to throw at people that's been a staple for the game, or are they just something that people tolerate for tradition's sake?

Reminds me of the SNES game E.V.O.
You could fluff it a bit more horrifying; tumors, disproportionately long limbs, too many or too few of some feature, etc.
Really play up the unnatural angle.

Are those even standard playable?
You are a young man, the son of a cobbler skilled in making magic shoes, living in a small mountain town in the middle of a small island, part of a relatively small kingdom comprised of other islands in a small archipelago known as the serpents ring. You have never left your home island before, even though your childhood friends have all become adventurers (a common job around these parts) because all you have ever wanted was to take over the family business, crafting enchanted boots of speed to sell to the local adventuring guild. Sadly, you lack any talent for your fathers trade. In fact, you lack any talent in anything at all, resulting in your childhood nickname being the sultan of suck. The only skill you could claim to have would be the ability to cast a few minor cantrips that you learned from a book when you were a child. Your father has decided to finally involve you in the family business, and has trusted you with delivering a crate of high quality enchanted footwear to the main island. You are traveling along the the main road out of your village, leading a horse and small wagon when you encounter a hooded woman in the middle of the road.
"your money or your life, choose one" she yells.
What do you do?
>>46024099
"I don't really have any money. You can take the shoes, but I'm not sure how liquid an asset they are, you might have trouble fencing them. That leaves...the horse? You want my horse?"
this has to be the stupidest quest yet.
The thief rides away into the woods with all of your money. Congratulations asshole, you just lost a couple thousand gold worth of enchanted items. I don't think your father is going to be pleased. I mean, you could try and find some adventurers to try and take back your stuff, but you have no money... What do you do? Wait on the side of the road for someone to pass by? Go after her? Return to your father a miserable failure?
So, I'm just going to take "succubus" and use it as a catch-all term for "female demon".
Sure, there's got to be female demons that might be some other type like marilliths or unique demons, but for the most part the only female demons you meet are going to be succubi, and with the origin of the whole succubus idea tracing it's way up a lineage of female demons that exhibited a wide variety of forms and powers throughout the centuries, I don't think I'm really amiss at just using "female demon" as the definition for succubus.
The whole "sex demon" business (the manipulation, the seduction, the dream invasion, the soul stealing, etc. ) kind of goes hand-in-hand with the question of "what kind of evil would a female demon do?", but I'd definitely consider the whole "female" part to be more important than the "sex" part.
Rolled 65 (1d100)
>>46023664
I think the word you're looking for is "demoness". It means female demon; without the sexual bits of a succubus.
>>46023664
That's like calling all breakfast food items pancakes because one breakfast food is called a pancake.
You're dumb
>>46023824
The "sexual" bits of the succubus seem to be less of a point inherent with the subdivision of "succubus" and more of just the subdivision of "female demon."
In hebrew and christian lore, female demon and succubi are largely interchangeable, to the point where Lilith and her children, the only female demons that are ever really mentioned, are defined as succubi once the term succubus was coined, which was several centuries after the concept of Lilith and her daughters.
Basically, succubi are less about sex so much as all female demons use sex, since that's just happens to be one of the tools available to them. The key thing to understand is that even though Lilith and her daughters include sex/seduction in their repertoire and they are succubi, they are not exclusively about sex/seduction, but include a variety of "feminine" evils, such as cursing babes out of jealousy and spite.
Succubi being sex demons seems to be more of an exaggeration of the most obvious "feminine" evil, but it's strange that that's what they've become entirely defined by in these later centuries. Succubi being simply "female" demons rather than "sex" demons brings them closer to their origin without relying on the shorthand interpretation that came about by later authors. Remember that Lilitu, the female demon of Babylon that inspired Lilith, also exhibited a wider range of "female" evils beyond seduction.

You've packed and repacked the capsules, tents, sleeping bags, smores, marshmallows, smores, blankets, pillows, smores, bug spray, smores, torches and smores.
Chitsu's already here, and Pen will be here any minute. Your friend runs off, Mama ordered her to clean her face before you all take off. You've got to take the jet instead of flying, thanks to Pen, but it's okay.
Boto powers down as you shut your door, tottering down the stairs as the doorbell rings, the short dark haired girl staring up at the house with wonder. "It's even bigger than you said it was!" She gasps.
You grin, waving her inside and calling out that she's here, ready to go.
Mom and Grandma come down, telling you to be good, behave yourself and they love you, the usual stuff, before Mom slips a thick jumper over your head, "And Kabuya, don't let her catch a cold." She reminds Mama.
She nods along, the jet waiting on the lawn as you pack everything in and get ready to go, Chitsu scurrying up at the last second, grinning widely, somehow even messier than before. Mama just sighs, shakes her head and waves the girl in as Chitsu clips into the seat next to you.
It's a short flight, out into the wilderness, about an hour or two outside of the city, when you set down in a soft little wooded grove for the night.
You step out of the jet again, tossing the capsules, and embracing all the weird smells. So different from the city.... Animals and trees, and even the grass are different... Hee.
Mama pats your head, "You girls look after yourself a few minutes and I'll have enough firewood to last a year."
She floats off between the trees, aaaaaand- Clear!
You turn to your friends, a grin on your face, as you and Chitsu zip a tent up, Pen watching with her mouth agape as you set it up in seconds.
"How do you two move like that?" She asks breathlessly, floating around the campsite.

We got through that first thread already? Wow. We're moving fast tonight.
First for fuck that personaless nerd
[9:30 am, 29-May-2129 (SUNDAY)]
It’s the weekend. You sit at the kitchen table, idly browsing through your phone. In the distance, the dishwasher hums, the soapy liquid inside sloshing around plates and cutlery. Other than that, it’s quiet. Shizuka has gone to bed, leaving you to spend your time however you see fit. You are considering finishing off that last piece of economics homework when your phone rings. You pick it up.
“Yo, Takashi!”
“Hey, Takauji. What’s up?”
You can hear the grin through the speakers. “I just got two tickets to an idol rave. Wanna come with me?”
“Where did you get those tickets? And what about Kanami and Kanade?”
“There was this raffle in the cafeteria yesterday and I won the first prize. Kanade is busy tutoring a kid and Kanami doesn’t like idol shows.”
“So I’m last place, eh?” You say, smirking.
“Hey, I heard you liked idol shows.”
“From whom? Wait, don’t tell me. It was Celeste, who told Kanami, who told you. That’s it, isn’t it?”
“I dunno, was it? I don’t remember where I picked up that info from. Anyway, you coming? If you don’t, I’ll have to give these tickets away.”
“Do you even like idol shows, Takauji?”
“Actually, I’ve never been to one before, so I’m curious. I've heard it's fun with friends, though.”
How will you respond?
>Accept the invitation.
>Decline, because you want to study for the morning. (Increases INTELLIGENCE).
>Decline, because you want to do some reading. (Read How to Think Big, increases CHARISMA and/or UNDERSTANDING).

>Decline, because you want to call the team to the Blackened Void. (Exploration)
>Decline, because you want to wander around the city today. (Random encounter)
>Decline, because of some other reason. (Custom option)
