Quest Start
You are Mikage Chiba, second year high school student, fifteen years old. You used to be the third woman to carry the mantle of the magical guardian of love and justice, Sailor Moon, after your mother and older sister. A year and a half ago you had a traumatic experience fighting the corpse of the father of your best friend, struggled victory leaving you thinking you had killed the man you had set out to save and prompting you to abandon your heritage. More than that, the relating emotional collapse lead you to abandoning yourself. Developing disguises and personas to inhabit and do the things you could not in secret, to live while you let yourself wither, you carried on.
And so, when strange evil again fell upon your city and your world, your younger sister rose as Sailor New Moon in your stead. However, despite your misgivings about magic and being a magical girl...you eventually rose to try and help your younger sister and the girls awakening to their own powers as her guardian court in secret.
In helping them you have gone to great lengths and made great strides in your own efforts to put yourself back together, mend the relationships you broke when you withdrew from friends and family, and to live.
By actions related to all three of those notions you find yourself tonight attending the show headlined by a band lead by one of your classmates. In part to rebuild your awareness of him and he you, in part because the two of you had been on the verge of something before you shut down. Things are, complicated now. Even though you made a move on your feelings. They are complicated.
Your feelings for him, Yoshi Sakurada. His feelings for you. Your feelings for your best friend, Kairi Osaka. Her feelings for you.
>>46156878
So damn complicated.
And on top of all that you used going to this show to get close to an agent of the enemy your little sister opposes as Sailor New Moon. Using one of your guised identities you have made arrangements to potentially infiltrate their organization in the morning, but for now you are catching some air on a shared hotel balcony area outside of the performance’s afterparty. Alone with a drink.
Well, you were alone. Someone from one of the other parties is out here with you now, you noticed him walking toward the table you find yourself brooding and stewing at.
He is the frontman for one of the other bands that was playing tonight. More than that, he has hit on you once before when you wore a different guise. That guise, the Red Eyed Beast, had a reputation for being the delinquent nightmare of Juuban. Presently you are dressed as the persona you crafted to join a Ganguro Revival fashion circle. Both of these slivers of yourself have been brought home and again into yourself.
“Excuse me,” he saunters up in cool confidence while dressed in rather casual clothing compared to his stage armor and dressing, “I didn’t think anyone else would be out here. May I sit?”
His intentions are telegraphed. However he hasn’t done anything specific to upset you just yet. And even if you told him he couldn’t sit, there is no telling what he’ll do.
>>46156893
You know from his earlier attempt to introduce himself to your other self that his name is Byakuya Hoseki. More than that, you know if the history of the past twenty years had gone different his name and his fate would be radically different. In a future averted, the alternate reality from which your big sister (who is actually an alternate possible version of yourself who has lived an entirely different life) comes from, he would have been Prince Demande of the Black Moon Clan. The descendents of rebels exiled from a Utopian Society without death sent to a far off planet called nemesis.
However, much like you are not your elder sister he is not Prince Demande. In this sequence of events, he is just flirtatious and young. Given your current personal conflict, you could probably do without his attention at the moment.
>Sure
>You can sit where you like
>I would rather be alone right now
>Engage Princess No protocol
>Engage more forceful No

Yep

No one likes burn players, they're gay and retarded. The only acceptable reason to play burn is if you're going to a tournament and to think it will be a good meta for it. First off let me just say right now I have never lost to any burn or RDW, in any format, as it's a shit deck and I've never been bested by the huge retard that it takes to pilot it. Sometimes I ask myself that question. How can you go to Fnm after Fnm, playing that same retarded burn deck you've been playing for months. It's disgusting, you fat sweaty swine, kill yourself.
Also what are you guys playing, brewing, purchasing, all that stuff you know.
Also anything from SOI peak your interest?
>>46155702
>I just got my ass kicked by someone playing burn
>>46155702
Burn players aren't that bad. Manaless dredge players are the worst.
>>46155728
>players playing a suboptimal version that folds to any and all hate of an actual archetype are the worst
Why?
Current metaplot events:
>Demons errywhere
>Northern Gun is best gun
>Thank the Emperor for secret Nazi wizards
>THE COALITION WAS RIGHT!
>The CS totally planned the whole Vanguard thing
>Only a mutant deebee loving traitor would say otherwise, you aren't a traitor are you anon?
>SOMEONE in the dimensions of Hell and Hades didn't read the CS Navy book

“I outcast too”, the creature whispered. It placed it’s spear on the ground, but well within reach. It’s posture didn’t seem hostile, but it still looked weary of you.
“I’m sorry to hear that, but I don’t really know much of your people. Don’t know why’d they exile you either, you seem like a reasonable fellow.”
The gnoll scoffed at that.
“Nothing to know. Therre is pack, therre is chief. You do what chief say, orr get smacked.”
“Not that different from what we have, actually”, you agreed.
“Afterr old chief die, I new chief. Have been for many yearrs. But then wolf-men came. They big, and strrong, but not many. They want pack to serrve. I want to fight, but my pack werre cowarrds! And so I rrun.”
After it’s short explanation, an awkward silence came over the woods. If this was a human, this would be the part where you’d clap them on the shoulder and said something along the lines of “that’s rough, buddy’’. But you weren’t quite sure this gnoll would appreciate the gesture.
After a while of sitting in silence, it stood up, and said:
“Khooman, this forrest is no place forr you orr yourrs. Leave while you can.”
With that, it started to leave.
What do you do?
>Just go to sleep.
>Follow it’s advice and go back to town.
>Follow the gnoll
>Write in…

Alright anons, let's roll up a regiment!
My only rule is that any result of a destroyed homeworld will be rerolled. Because dead homeworlds aren't terribly fun.
Roll me 1d10!
Rolled 9 (1d10)

Folling
>>46129425
>Militia
A bunch of poor sods, armed with nought but cheap auto-arms and lasguns, while their armor might as well be paper, and in some cases really is just painted on paper.
Regardless, they'll do their duty to world, Throne and Emperor.
ROLL ME 1D100!
Rolled 3 (1d100)
A thread for both historical photos and artwork concerning the period and for alternate history stuff. Steam and dieselpunk welcome. I'm working on an alternate history game set around this time period and I'm trying to expand my art folder.
Given that the game is gonna be taking place in a pretty deadly period of history, armor technology like pic related becoming widespread and effective could be a boon for PCs.
Running a short quest based off anons' suggestions, so I can practice writing. I'll take just about anything within reason.
>>46123011
Let's make something classic. A pious knight on a quest to save a princess/fair maiden from a Dragon.
>>46123116
Sounds good, I'll give other people a chance to suggest stuff before I start.
They seem to vary a lot between series. Sometimes green, sometimes black, sometimes Caucasian, sometimes pointy eared, sometimes fanged. Even the LOTR movies has insane variation between all of them. In cartoons they are almost always pig people. In video games they are typically all green with huge overbites.
So what should be or is your own definition of orc? What do they look like?
i cant help but see them as warhammer/warcraft style orcs... i guess it's what you're most used to dealing with
on a side note, i think i read somewhere that the "pig man" version of the orc came from a mistranslation to or from a japanese game
>>46118996
I see Lord of the Rings movie orcs. Not the hobbit ones, the original ones.
>>46118996
Goblinoid with sickly dirty skin and porcine facial features.
Also have them walk like chimps so they have a way to explain that stupid strength.
New players - always welcome!

Operation Unity has begun.
Tel Aviv continues to burn as the five major factions throw every pilot, every resource, and every hour of manpower into destroying the Puppet's central stronghold. Tel Aviv, as well as the long strip of the coastal Eastern Mediterranean containing the Puppet's last strongpoints, have been in contention for days. Fighting has claiming an innumerable amount of lives, and the damage to both the area and the resources supplied around the world has been dramatic, to say the least.
You were selected to lead the elite team tasked with destroying the terraforming equipment present in the city's largest arena. Getting there has been difficult due to the constant presence of VP forces, and it looks as though the VP will throw every last pilot they have before they allow you to destroy the arena's equipment.
If the arena is destroyed, more pressure can safely be put on Tel Aviv by the factions, establishing a foothold. If Tel Aviv is retaken, one of the largest concentrations of VP pilots falls, and its fall may prompt a series of snowballing victories in the area.
If you can destroy the equipment in the arena, you can retake Tel Aviv.
If you can retake Tel Aviv, the factions can finally get a major foothold.
If the factions can finally get a major foothold, the war is over.
Everything depends on this mission, because it very well might be your last. Give it everything you've got.
(No pressure!)

All pilots start in the University sector's Faction Controller area. Anyone not present for Part 1 who registers for Part 2 is considered to have been moved during time passed.
Please post all builds using Pastebin or in-thread. Wiki builds are accepted but are not especially easy to copy or quickly review.
If you are using a black market weapon or equipment that is not in the Long List of Black Market Shit, post it along with your build.
Players are to join with on a "first come, first serve" basis. The limit of active players in game at one time will be 10 players. This is intended to ease confusion on all ends and make the game a little smoother and faster.
When registering, you have to provide:
1. A 2.0 compatible-build with fully approved weapons and equipment.
2. All roll modifiers, including ones specific to situation or gear.
3. Any extra information (fluff or otherwise) that you feel is relevant.
I will be more focused on making sure the game runs smoothly on my end, so I ask that all of you act as watchdogs for your own builds. Failure to provide all of your roll modifiers won't result in any penalization, but I may fail to apply modifiers not explicitly stated.

A system will be implemented into Unity to help provide players with better means of scheduling their time. The "Defend/Reinforce" system will allow this. At approximately 16:00/17:00 PST (the time will be decided during the mission when the opportunity best presents itself) there will be a chance for any players who wish go inactive (to go to work, to sleep, or otherwise) to enter a "Defend" state. During the "Defend" state, inactive players' pilots will move to a certain part of the map and defend it as an NPC. During the "Defend" state, pilots will have no active hand in mission objectives but are guaranteed to live (you cannot die in a Defend state) and will be available for use on any later part of Unity run in the future. On the other side, players who wish to join late can do so using the "Reinforce" state. During a "Reinforce" state, players who are not in the mission can join and become active to either replace the spots left by inactive players or alternatively fill any open spots. Note: Even if there are open spots after the first registry, they will only be open to players during this state! Those who reinforce must register in the manner posted above, but can join the game late to better fit their schedules. In this sense, the "Defend/Reinforce" system is a means of cycling out/in players so that time zones or scheduling conflicts do not interfere with the ability to play a mission.
There is a dead-set time of 22:00 PST as the cut-off point for the mission, which would be a 12 hour block. There will be two cycles for players in/out.
ctrl f + standard / rotation = nothing.
Looking to brew something along the lines of:
4x olivia
4x drana liberator
4x zulaport
4x relentless dead
4x sac outlet
4x removal
4x kolaghans command
?x this
?x that
22-25 lands
Not entirely sure how i'd like to build it but its a very simple template so far
Needs red creatures, might splash white for utility in white allies, but could easily go other colors as well.
Not running jace or ugin, or anything over 15$ each
suggestions?
What are you building
