Replace Space Marines with Power Rangers.
Assuming they are buffed to fit in more, how does this change the setting?

Their battle music increases in awesomeness by at least 10-fold
>>46486604
Poorly. Rangers work in teams of seven at the most, they'll never be able to field the numbers needed to fend off the Imperium's enemies.

Gather 'round, all ye hero's both great and small, for I hereby call to order yet another important meeting of the world renowned Adventurers Guild! First up on the list, It seems that over the past couple of weeks, the Adventurers' Guild has received no less than 271 messages both written AND telepathic from both the local populace, and the monsters that live both around and below the city. Something about the stench that wafts through ours doors killing the local plant and wildlife every time they're opened... Now normally I would take these messages and...

Good gods! It's about time somebody other than me started to notice the smell! It's bad enough trying to breath in here with the deathly smell that wafts up from the loin clothes of most of our local barbarians, let alone everything else in here!

By the way. Does anybody know how all these Goblins are keeping fed? I think it might be the all the fungus growing in the on the floor in the bathroom, but I was under the impression those were poisonous?
Also, I just want this to be pointed out, but this WHOLE THING could have been avoided if we'd simply CLEANED THE DAMN PLACE UP MONTHS AGO!!!
What role do gnomes play in your campaign setting, if they have one at all? The often lose out on theme space between the other races and the default often isn't appealing, so I'm curious what other niches they might fill.
We had a racist use for Deep Gnomes. They were slaves, and most of the NPCs that owned them had an extremely thick southern accent. Later, we discovered that the gnomes were a chief ingredient in "Kelcet's Fried Chicken" food. Was a pretty fun side story.
>>46486558
We did the same thing, but with run-of-the-mill black gnomes.
>>46486276
Currently, the campaign world has no gnomes. That said, I could imagine them being another off-shot race of Natives -- currently, elves, orcs, and goblins, divided into various subraces based on ancient tribes -- that would probably live deep beneath the earth and end up dealing with the People of the Spider, the setting's equivalent of Drow which are currently assumed by most to just be a tall tale used to explain the actions of goblins. Though they look as drow might if it wasn't a divine curse that altered...

Anyone have any images that go well with Jakub Rozalski's 1920+ world? I want to run a campaign based on it and I need more images.
Posting some of his stuff in the meantime.
I certainly hope none of you have been sexualizing any dragons /tg/.

Leandros?!
Of course he is!
we can all agree that you're a faggot and the alpha meme has long worn out its welcome

I don't really know what they were implying Titus' powers to be.
It couldn't be the Pariah Gene, could it? I thought that rendered you immune to the warp, and the legion's librarians would have immediately recognised it, because it physically pains any warp-sensitive person to be in their presence.
It might be that he has unrecognised psychic powers, and that's why he's able to (marginally) resist the psychic powers of a chaos sorcerer when everyone else is fucked up by...

Song of Swords is a realistic fantasy tabletop RPG that draws inspiration from historical fechtbuchs, weapons and armor. Its combat system is fast and it can be used for both fantasy and historical/mundane settings.
Call of the Void is a pulpy sci-fi tabletop RPG about fighting space-nazis and hunting giant whales with harpoons made out of the moon. Its combat system is more modern, based in the early 20th century, but can probably handle combat up to the present day.
Here's a .rar archive with the newest version of the rules as well as all related current working documents. At this time the latest version is v1.9.9:

There's also a roll20 room where new players are encouraged to try the rules, test new rules, and find game breaking issues: https://app.roll20.net/join/346755/hRKd4w
The room might be empty, but the people who teach the game still browse the thread frequently. If you're looking to learn, post here in the thread. We also play Guy Windsor's card game Audatia in the room.
Tuesdays suck.
So, if I want to run a modern-ish (say 80's) game focussed on operators operating operationally, is call of the void a thing that would work for me, or would I be better off with gurps? I've only ever casually skimmed these threads, so I'm not really sure what the strengths and weaknesses of the system are.
>>46486623
I reckon it would work nicely for you, but maybe you'll need to stat your own weapons.
One of the most important weaknesses of BotW atm is that lethality is pretty high. You can shield yourself with cover well enough, but if you're hit in a vital spot, there's a high chance you'll die right away.
So I just finished up running a fairly long game and I asked my players what they wanted to play for the next one. They said 5e as some have played and enjoyed it and the rest wanted to try it. I've yet to actually run a game of it, only play through it when it first came out, so I agreed. I set about making a setting and campaign while trying to be too cliched when I had a sudden realization; Why?
Why avoid the cliche? Why not run a game of the MOST cliche'd, cartoonish, in your fucking face with it's big floppy Dungeons and Dragons dick game of D&D...

Old school as FUCK
What does a grimbright fantasy setting look like?
Everything is shitty, but you have a home and can't die until you want to.
>>46484588
It looks like that one game where you ran through fairytale land and peed on everything.
>great world, everything is awesome
>awful people, everyone is an asshole
A big, beautiful world of wonder where everyone is a cunt and destruction looms around every corner.
So basically Warcraft.
I'm sorry for the obvious beginner question that probably belongs in a FAQ, but I need to have expert opinion on how dice work.
I think it's good practice to hold your dice 20/10/6/whatever up, but what exactly does it cause? My group was of the opinion that it charges up the desired result, but I myself think it's more about conditioning the die to show the number.
Or is it something else? Can it actually be detrimental? Could it drain the energy of that result, increasing the chance of other results instead?

What do you guys think the unbannings are going to do? Will Eldrazi still be a decent decl, is anyone trying it?
Will control finally be able to compete? What do you guys think?
>>46483413
one of the two bigass things it does is drag tezzerator into modern with a vengeance, which if it goes how i think it might go since it got the engine it needed, it might be the thing that pimpslaps affinity around all day every day.
the other thing its gonna do is make U/x control decks viable again with a legitimate draw engine for once from AV.
>>46483499
AV is bad. I'd love for my opponent to play that garbage
>>46483499
Why does tezzerator pimp slap affinity,
Cards that would be good in modern edition.

This is going to get shouted down quickly by /tg/ I assume but I dig the idea of making cards based on 4chan and dank memes
So just so you know before people call you names and say your idea is terrible, I actually like it
How would /tg/ do a blockbuster Warhammer 40k Movie?
how would you introduce the 40k universe to the mainstream normie legions?
I've already answered this exact same question before OP. Nice dubs tho
