Last time, on Dragon Ball Tuffle Quest Z! Arriving on Planet Brench after trying to master the Fusion Dance with Chiaotzu, you find out that not only has Lazuli's plan to stop Cooler failed, but King Cold is on the planet with her. She flies off in a desperate attempt deal with Cooler directly, prompting you to fly after her. But you arrive too late... and find that she missed Cooler entirely, hitting King Cold with a pair of Destructo Disks! Krillin and Lapis rescue you both, as you find your friends just had to deal with a incident of their own, and your kids helped save the world!

"I ate the fruit to turn the tide, then Trip and I focused to take them out one after the other, strongest to weakest."
"Wait, how strong did they get, exactly?" you question.
"They were around twice as strong as your normal state was when you left, before the power up. After, they seemed to double again, even transformed into some kind of bulked up form." the Namekian replies. "In any case, Krillin and Lapis immediately teleported here once they were wished back, on their own to most of our surprise. Many Makyans still threatened the planet below, but with them on our side we started to clean them up." Piccolo then laughs, to your surprise. "Reminds me, when the Black Water Mist was still affecting people, some of Pilaf's people tried to attack him. To his surprise, he was able to knock them away easily. He still went to his bunker with Tao and Shen to wait it out. Picked up on that while heading to your place."

He just fights for his people. Not for some evil race or evil overlord, just for the other guys that have an equally good reason to fight this war as the guys your heros fight for.
How do you convey a sense of scale when dealing with gigantic creatures?

Tell the players to put their little tokens near the entrance of the room or environment, then describe the giant guy directly in front of them.
Then, put two great big tokens a few squares ahead of them, a couple squares apart, and indicate that this represents the giant. Wait for somebody to ask, or just for somebody to realize and state aloud that oh, shit, those are just his feet.
If your players are in combat with the creature, describe misses as hits that merely fail to score a significant hit:

To reveal my ulterior motive for this topic, I've been thinking about reading the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. I understand that there is more than one English translation, none of which appear to be available in the libraries or bookstores around here. I've not read some of the important mythic stuff, things that serve as an inspiration for Exalted like the Ramayana, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Journey to the West or The Water Margin.
Stuff that I've read that I've found makes for good inspiration for Exalted is the Iliad, Epic of Gilgamesh, Black Company, Night's Master and a bunch of Conan and Elric stories.

Currently, you were sitting in a slightly cramped conference room with the rest of your Task Force, along with a veritable army of officers and suits from various law enforcement, security, intelligence, and military agencies, including the Captain. Reposting this for feedback.
And also throwing out a discussion question to get things going: How much uncertainty do you, or from your players, feels too little or too much. Classic uncertainty elements are things like not knowing what monsters are in the next room, not knowing about traps unless you make a search check, things like that. But are there times when you feel there should be more or times when even that seems too unfair in rulesets?
Personally, I like a higher than normal level of uncertainty. One of my favorite things in games like WHFB was not revealing certain equipment choices, it made for some decision making. Do you charge the unit of Night Goblins and risk the chance they had fanatics? Two units have set-ups that make best use of a certain magic item, but which one has it? Which unit has an assassin in it? Things like that. Not things that horrible skew the game, like hiding weapon loadouts and such, but little bits that add some excitement.
Is there any real reason to use anything besides 3d6, d20, d100 or dice pools with d6,d10?

I've seen a few elegant games that used 2d6 and a couple very minimalist ones that I liked that used 1d6, but not really. Any dice that aren't d6, d10, or d20 really don't have a reason to exist as anything but a curiosity.
