Hey, /wodg/. A few months back I was working on a JoJo's Bizarre Adventure themed Chronicles of Darkness supplement, kinda like the Silent Hill and Parasite Eve ones. I've recently gone back to the drawing board with the idea and started from scratch, and I'm wondering if you guys were willing to give some feedback on the ideas I had for the document.

I once ran a campaign where the pc's ran a pawn shop. I let them name 100 different items, anything they want they could fit in their building. I rolled a d20 and if they got above 13 I gave it to them. Some of the more interesting game ones are as follows:

A few luxury vehicles that were destined for the chop shop overseas, but the guy running the operation was arrested and his "business" deteriorated soon after. The Feds and Interpol never looked too far into his records, so this shipment was overlooked. Lucky you.
So, how do you fellow DMs get players to consider surrendering to a numerically superior but certainly evil foe? I find that most players have a 'win or die' mentality that makes them not even consider false submission in order to further a later ecape. Obviously, this limits some exciting narrative options! Any tips to avoid this effect?

Surrendering isn't fun, so I don't set up scenarios where its the only way to avoid death for my players' characters.
Make surrender a thing that actually happens in your universe, since most RPGs and campaigns act like it isn't.
Have your enemies surrender EVERY time they look likely to lose a fight, hopefully this will let the players know they can do the same.

What are some good 'technique' or 'martial arts' copying perks? I want something like that before I head into Wuxia with Everybody Was Kung Fu Fighting drawback.
Give me a scenario in which "becoming the little girl" can be done in a way that isn't disruptive to the game by nature, isn't solely dictated by fetish logic, makes sense in-universe and can create a useful and interesting character concept/plot hook/setting element.
I know that some of you are dropping trou this very moment, but the less fetishy the idea is, the more likely it is it'll give you an opportunity to play it in the future.

But really, if you're starting with the fetish and then looking for a way to justify it, you're doing it wrong. Either play an ERP where everyone can openly play their fetishes, or keep your fetishes out of it.

When you're running a game, or even just involved with any piece of fiction, at what point does fantasy get 'too' fantasy for you and you have to say 'enough already'?
