>Not even X-Wing
That is why you fail
So, best way of showing a bunch of new people how to play X-Wing using my own ships and one table?
Was thinking either make 2 similar 100 pt lists and have 2 a side controlling a ship or two each, or doing a ~30 point battle royale with people picking a ship to play

You hop out of the ring, going to check on the girl you just beat.
She looks stunned, taking a moment to fix herself up before getting back up. The referee throws her clothes to her, and she gets dressed again, glancing in your direction.
"I hope you aren't expecting a kiss," Ranfan tells you.

Hold harmony sacred.
Those three simple words - penned in a looping script that you study with a mixture of admiration and frustration – are the only thing written on the first page of the old, leather-bound book. They serve as a title, as an introduction, and as a statement of intent. The book isn't a weighty thing, the kind of tome that could be slipped into a pocket without leaving much of a mark, but it could still be trimmed down, shorter and shorter, until only those three words were left.
Hold harmony sacred.
Harmony between men and the gods, and between fellow men. Harmony between the gods and the lands they inhabit, both influencing each other and being influenced in turn. Even the harmony between a man and a woman – two hearts, and two minds both acting as one – would count.
The leather-bound book makes a soft thud as you let it fall back onto the table. You're no scholar or philosopher – you'll leave the book learning to the professionals.

Even reading for nearly an hour by the light of the pale, silvery moon, sleep was hard to come by. Driven by some restless mania, you soon find yourself stalking the deserted corridors of the Nameless Temple, acutely aware of the unfamiliar faces sleeping safe behind locked and shuttered doors. The Emperor, Sho Tatsuhiro, keeps a further layer of protection between himself and the world – a soldier, loaded down with a heavy rifle and a broad-bladed sword. You pass that lonesome sentinel by without drawing his...

That's how you win D&D.
/tg/ is such a fucking shithole now...
Why do people even play D&D anymore?
> go join new group at FLGS
> literally all of these people's descriptions of their character involve their alignment, race, or class
> half the characters are "lol quiet and brooding"
> autistic quibbling over the already-autistic 5th edition rules
> grappling is literally not any better than it used to be

How about you just not show up? Then you can effectively kill the whole group without being a pretentious asshat about it.

Does your OC give money to beggars? Unconditionally?
Does your OC tip bards?
How often does your OC see their family members?
What is the name of your OC's favorite tavern, and what is the specialty drink there?
What is a skill your OC is proud of having that is not covered by in-game stats?

OC: Charlotte du Beauchamp
>Does your OC give money to beggars?
Yes, if she can spare a few gold then why not? She isn't hurting for funds or anything.

Sure, it's just a few coins.

>Does your OC give money to beggars? Unconditionally?
Being a country-boy unused to the hustle and bustle of cities, the concept of a beggar is something foreign to him. While I imagine he'd be fine with giving a few coins to the beggars that ask, he wouldn't go out of his way to look for them.
>Does your OC tip bards?
Of course! Every bard needs some patronage! That said, we've got a Diva Bard in our party that often takes the...

From an in-universe standpoint how did battle bikinis and combat swimsuits come about?
fat chicks and tumblr wasn't invented
>>47641302
space activity suits, enchanters are perverts, magic is tied to charisma, the magical material is hella expensive by the ounce, and/or that's just the fashion in this setting.
In one of my settings (a Wild West kind of thing) there battle bikinis because
1. No dress order
2. No bulletproofs clothing
3. To hot for Armor

It's a dead day.
Can confirm, don't dead, enter inside.
Starting off with gish/spellswords, for my new bladelock.
Really, 5e Blade Pact is the best. Nothing makes you feel like more of an adventurer than swords, spells, and magical special abilities.
Tome and Chain is for autistic minmaxers who crap their pants of they can't get 1 more damage die on their Agonizing/Repelling/Necrotic Eldritch Spamblast.
Continuing with gishes.

Hype motherfuckers
For the past year, you've been preparing.
You compared your speed with Goku and Krillin, received lessons from Master Roshi himself, then set out on your own, enduring intense training as you swam across oceans, climbed mountains with a cannonball strapped to your back, fought pirates, bears, and beasts. You've ran across the continent, trained your speed, endurance, and power, and even developed a new technique.
And now, the day you have been preparing for has come at last. The day where you can truly out all of your training to the test. The day where...

I can't even decide which faction I'm the most hype for anymore. They've all got great visual style.
Guess I'll have to wait and see how they operate on the table.

Personally I'm not a fan of the Scourge's organic art deco style, so that at least one less to consider.
>>47631699
Shaltari and Scourge have too many random spikey bits. I'll take the UCM's greebles over that.
I'm planning an adventure where the party are shrunk down by fey and have to survive a horrible bug infested environment to retrieve a magic item from an ant hill.
Post horrifying bugs.
Boo
>>47627482
Don't just think about the bugs, think of the enviornmental things. There's a ton of more ways you could twist your parties arms with all sorts of teeny tiny fun.
Acid covered plants for instance, one touch and your hand is caught by a substance as sticky and tough as superglue that starts melting right away and the rest of the plant moves to encase you

Why not make her a Witch?
Other than that - Magic-User, obviously. LotFP MU are the side of Chaos. They even get damaged by holy water.
