A kitchen sink is bad because your land of barbarians and robots and aliens neighbors a nation that's all bandits and untamed wilderness with no crossover between the two whatsoever.
Good design makes the two nations as distinct as Texas and California - two large coastal states with mostly unusable land bordering a troublesome neighboring country.

Keep this in mind: Silencers do not exist. You have suppressors. A gunshot can not be silenced, only suppressed to a more manageable point, and even then that point is still likely to be heard from quite a bit away if fired in sheer silence. Silencers are stupid.
Heartbeat/Motion Sensors come to mind, from various settings.
Various kinds of sights are applicable, from Red-Dot to Thermal, even X-Ray. Having a way to swap between two quickly is an idea.

And since was "shear silence" possible. Even on the quitest night there's noise. And sure, you can hear it from quite far away. If by far away you mean a max of 15 meters. If you're using a silencer, chances are mate, you're a little further away than around the block. And let's assume the area is completely quiet, no insects , birds, people, machinery,or wind. the loudest it gets is a short t-ss. Now I can't speak for a suppressed pistol, but assuming you're not a minge-guzzling poppy fondler, you're going to be using sub-sonic rounds too. Sure, you'll see some git going around firing 5.57 rounds out of a suppressed AR-15, but he's not doing it right, is he? he's using standard ammunition, rather than specialised, expensive, sub-sonics. So what you hear is an audible pvvv, everytime a round leaves the chamber. Get a bloody clue mate. Honestly. It makes me angry that people who havn't fired a suppressed rifle properly have decided "uuuuu, IT'S NOT SILENCED GUIS" as if you'll hear it over the sound of ambeint bloody noise.

Where do you guys get your fakes? I've ordered of some random chink on aliexpress with good reviews and found it really hit and miss.
One card is completly perfect, two OK ish and 3 other really bad. Theyre blue and their color is completly washed out, you notice immediately how its different without even taking it into your hand.
What's the price? I want to get into modern but I refuse to pay $500 on land bases alone, would be about $100 or something?

Fortress was probably the most secure place in the wasteland. It wasn't a city per se, it was a gigantic mobile Fortress with dozens of smaller fortresses cuddled together and attached to the main one. The amount of exhaust and other noxious clouds was awful. In fact, Everyone of the folks hanging by the city's outskirt had a gas mask, All of them had a red tint with a drawing of a fat snake on its sides.
"Hey man," three of lurking folks approached you and Mile. They had a large box brimmed with these masks "Wanna some masks? High quality right here....just for 500 caps."

I've been making up martial arts styles (9 swords style) for my player who is a plant monk.
I get the feeling he wants to have a crazy martial arts scene. What sort of enemy monk should I include? Weird species are good

I think a Goliath (or other large race) monk who specializes in the seven-section-staff has potential.
I'm assuming you're using 3.5 due to your 9-swords reference.
How about an evil demon-worshipping monk who dipped one level of warlock. His monk-side uses the CRF that replaces Flury Of Blows with a single strike with major damage bonus, and the CRF that swaps Stunning Fist for the Nauseated condition. The warlock side uses Hideous Blow or Eldritch Claws to add an extra d6 damage and the Frightful Blast invocation. So every attack is doing more damage and forces 2 saves.

I'd give him Zen Archery as well.
