You are a God of Dice. Each of you, I mean. All of you represent a number of the holy 1d20. Roll 1d20 and, in the same post, determine what fate awaits all the others to roll that number. If you roll a free number, congratulations, you are the Primary God of that Number. If you roll a taken number, refer to EVERY post that's rolled that number before to determine your fate. Even if it's terrible, at least you know your own contribution to the number may help/screw over the next would-be god. Also, if you somehow survive your fate, you become a Lesser God of that Number.

Indie rules-light RPGs are to mainstream rules-heavy RPGs what improvised banter is to Cards Against Humanity. The detailed, restrictive, and frequently absurd rules serve the same purpose of quickly generating good stories without requiring too much creativity (albeit stories that make no sense to someone who doesn't know the rules).

I was around at the end of 2nd edition and 3rd edition when Oldcrons came out and the C'Tan got shoehorned into everything. That wasn't cool, except (imo) for the Void Dragon hinted as being on Mars, with a fleet of small Necron ships making a suicide run at the red planet and one succeeding in crash landing.
The codex didn't reveal much about the Necrons or their motivations, but it did spend a lot of time talking about members of the Adeptus Mechanicus being obsessed with (practically in love with) the Necrons. It's the one thing I miss about Oldcrons....

IMO that's the bit where the shoehorning got a bit too much. Having the AM being very interested in the necrons, sure, but suddenly having that big a player on the brink of defection was pushing it.

You must be blind because the codex explained their motivation clearly. You should read carefully next time. Their motivation i enslaving all life and restoring the C'tan Empire of Destruction.

Do orks have any robots? Not mechs, but thinking machines. They don't seem the type but they're orks, so I have to ask.

The closest would be the killa kans and deffdreads and mekadreads and stuff. Those are operated by a grot or ork brain, so theyre more like dreadnoughts more than anything. But no robots with AI or logic engines or anything like that.
